My thread was moved to here! no wonder i couldn't find it!

I got in touch with a lovely breeder down south (KC Accredited) she doesn't have yorkie pups due yet but she recommended someone who has some due in July and they will be ready in september! as soon as i know what she has, and i hope she has some bitches born! i will put a deposit down on one.
I'm trying not to get too excited yet but i can't help myself!
Ive already been buying as i love to shop! ive bought the most gorgeous pink igloo bed and some puppy toys and a carrier. I still have 3 months or so but at least it gives me time to shop!!

Hello I Too Live In The Uk - Just A Thought But Have You Tried Epupz, There Seems Lots Of Yorkies In All Areas.

Your Right It Is Quiet On This Forum.... I Check In Frequently, But Usually Nothing Happening.

Default Hello Diane!

I was starting to feel very lonely on here!

Whereabouts in Cheshire are you? my Mother in law lives in Crewe (Wistaston) and we go over regularly to visit, maybe when i get my new baby (wherever she may be!) we could do our own meet ups etc! why should our American friends have all the fun!!
I spend quite alot of time on epupz i spend hours looking for Yorkies and anything to do with them! i'm totally obsessed and driving my hubby nuts!

I have 3 breeders contact details, one in wales has pups due mid july, one in Essex has pups due 10 july and another in kent has pups due in August.
I'm keeping my options open and trying to be sensible and not rush out and buy the first one i come across! so hopefully i will be a new mummy very soon...

I hope you come on to chat regularly i will look out for you!

Red face Hello

Hello Kerry

Sorry Not Been On For A Few Days To Check In. I Live In Widnes, Which Is Just About 20 Miles From Liverpool. I Would Love To Meet Up With You When You Do Get Your Baby....... Harvey Needs A Playmate.

My Next Door Neighbour Is Getting A English Bulldog On Friday, So He Will Have A Little Buddy Soon.

I Think Your Are Being Sensible In Looking Around - So Hard Though As They Are So Cute......

I Have My Little Yorkie Harvey He Is 15 Months Old, He Is 3.5 Lb, Looks So Tiny Though - Everyone Thinks He Is A Puppy Of A Few Months Old, When I Take Him Out He Gets So Much Attention. He Has Such A Lovely Personality, So Cuddly And Loveable - We Are Just So Obsessed With Him.

I Also Always Look On Epupz - Just Interested, Happy With Just The One - I Am Usually Always On Yt (i Am A Little Bit Addicted - I Think), But I Dont Post That Much Really.

I Am Sure It Wont Be Long Before Your Husband Is Also Obsessed, These Little Ones Have A Tendancy To Grab Your Heart And You Can Never Let Go........... My Husband Is As Attaced To Harvey As I Am Myself Now..... We Just Love Him So Much. I Cant Wait To Get Home From Work At Night To See Him........ Ahhhhhhhhhh

Good Luck In Your Search - Hope You Dont Have To Wait Too Long Though.......

Keep In Touch Wont You?

Also try looking on Pet Plans website http://www.petplan.co.uk/community/findapet.asp
It's being updated at the moment but it should be up and running again soon...you put in your details of what you're looking for and they email you a list of breeders in the area you want....you can contact the Petplan Breeder Line on 0800 072 4411 for a list of breeders in your area while you're waiting for the site to work again. ...Or go to the Kennel Club website who also have a breeders list search facility...see link http://www.the-kennel-club.org.uk/asp/PSAR/ not being funny but I would give Epupz a wide birth...I know of people who have bought puppies via them and have had problems...Lisa xxx

Hi Kezza,

Unfortunately I can't help you with your search but I just wanted to wish you good luck! I used to live in Kidlington just outside Oxford when i was a language student in England! I loved it there, it was the best time of my life really and I still miss Oxford and England even though my stay was 10 years ago I come from Switzerland originally but have moved to Norway two years ago to live with my boyfriend. Where in Oxfordshire do you live then?

Hugs,
Karin

I live in a town called Carterton, My husband is in the RAF and he is stationed at RAF Brize Norton. We have been here just over 3 years now.
We were up in Scotland for 5 yrs before that.

Hi Kezza
Any luck finding a pup? I have read all the advice people have given and at the end of the day it is luck if you manage to find a healthy pup, I had my yorkie from a KC breeder and he had so many in breeding problems and sadly die at just three. So good luck in your search and if you find one do recomend the breeder.

I have flown out of Brize several times on posting's with my hubby (ex army). Loverly part of the country.

Hi there,

So sorry to hear about all the problems you faced with your Yorkie, to lose him at just 3 yrs old is terrible! it must have been awful for you...you should have had many many more years with your baby. Did the KC breeder offer you any compensation or anything?....although i know that any compensation wouldn't have made up for the loss of your baby...but shouldn't the breeder have been made accountable in some way? It doesn't fill you with confidence does it? Did you contact the Kennel Club about this breeder?
I got in touch with a KC Accredited breeder but she didn't have any litters planned/due so she recommended a breeder friend in Wales (her stud is from this breeder) so i'm just waiting on this litter to be born, i will see what she has then go over for a visit and if i'm happy i will put a deposit down.
I have the details of another breeder in kent and she has a litter due in august. I'm keeping my options open...if i'm not happy or unsure of anything i will walk away...at the end of the day i'm going to be putting alot of money and love into this new baby and everything has got to be 100%.

We have been here at Brize for the last 3 and a half years...i hated it at first because we had spent 5 years up in Scotland and we loved it up there...but i'm quite settled here now..just took a bit of getting used to as it was so different from Scotland. We will more than likely be staying here for a while yet, hubby is due promotion later this year but will probably stay here and not get posted, but my hubby should be going for his commission soon too...so who knows what will happen! it's all very exciting though! I love moving around...good thing really!

I'm getting my new baby!!!!
I have posted a thread in the 'General Yorkie Discussion' and some pics.
If all goes to plan..and i pray it does! i should be collecting her on the 6 september when she is 13 weeks old. The breeder keeps her pups till they are 10 weeks and 13 if you already have a dog as she then gets the pup inocculated first.
I just can't wait..she has put the smile back on my face!
