Sorry! here is the translation:

Mitzi's Mom:
Gruess Gott Anita! A richtigs Minchna Kindl, gell?

Pfueat Di!

Gods greetings! A real Munic child, huh? I lived over 12 years in Munic (Maxvorstadt = part of town) and emigrated then to the Capeverdian Islands. After that I was visiting Fremont, CA were I met my husband, married him and live now with him in Pocomoke City, MD. San Francisco is almost like Munic... May God watch over you!

neersyorkies:
Gruess Gott Sonja ,
Sieht so aus als ob wir hier an YT einen Deutschen Club haben koennten.

Bis bald
Manuela

Gods greetings Sonja,

Looks like as if we could have a German club here on YT.

Till soon
Manuela

Mitzi's Mom:
Germans are everywhere... there gotta be a nest somewhere...
Where are you from?
Sonja

neersyorkies:

I am from Mannheim there I met my husband he was in the US Army and for the last 20 years I'm in Texas now.
Till soon Manuela

That's it! Big mystery solved!

LOL Thank for the translation. I am slowly trying to pick German up here and there. especially scent I am seeing a German OBGYN during my pregnancy.( I am high risk so the military Dr's here wont have anything to do with my pregnancy.)

I am really surprised on how smart the little kids are here. Every kid I have meet at my OBGYN office can speak english as well, if not better then kids there own age, that are American. I have little 2 and 3 yrs old that come up to me speaking english. I am shocked that they even know two languages at that age and that they know how to speak both of them really well.

Also there SOO well behaved. Long with there dogs here. I have never seen a dog lay down and stay there until there owner said for them to come on. They dont move or anything until the own tells them to. I have seen kids drop food infront of a dog and he didnt even MOVE to sniff it. My Bunny and Bella would have eaten it before it hit the grown.

Thanks a lot, also for reminding me that there are a few good things about Germany...

I hope everything is going well with your pregnancy! We'll pray for you and Mitzi sends Yorkie kisses!

Thanks! Funny thing is, I had more problems to write the German version than to translate it... When I call my Mom once a month I always have difficulties to get into German and she laughs at me and calls me her "Ami". When I talk to her there are always some "you see"'s and "you know"'s in between...

Teeth Never lived in Germany

but I visited there the last 2 weeks, mostly Frankfurt & Munich. It was beautiful & I'd love to go again, I did miss the ac but more than that I missed iced tea. I didn't find anywhere in Europe that freely gave ice with their drinks. I don't understand it because it was hot(not like Texas but still a nice iced cold drink or water would have been great). I would go to the McDonald's just so I could get a good cup of ice. Most places if you requested ice they would give you maybe 2 small cubes. Of course, the Northern US doesn't seem as addicted to ice as us Southerners.
