I spent 3 wonderful years in Germany. We lived near the army post Grafenwoehr. My advice is to travel all you can while you are stationed in Germany, there is so much to see and learn. My only regret is we didn't do a second tour.....

I've just read about your poor baby on your other thread. What an absolutely dreadful thing to happen, you must be heartbroken. I'm so very, very sorry.

I went to school in Germany, in Einbeck near Hanover.

Where in Germany are you??

If you do get another yorkie. Dont get it from a pet shop here. most of them arnt 100% full blooded. If the pup and the parents of the pup are not born in Germany. I would not buy them. There are a lot of pups/dogs out there with fake papers. That why I say if there not born here, I would not get them. A lot of dog are brough over illegally and most of those are sick and have fake papers.

Like you I got my girls to keep me company. Hubby works all different hours, so I am home all day long by my self with my girls (Hubbys in the military as well). When I was looking for a sis for my Bunny. I waited till I went back home (Texas) to get my Bella. I got her from the same breeder I got my Bunny from. That way I KNEW I was getting a healthy pup.

Every pup starts out black and tan. most dont start changing color till maybe there 5 or 8 months. the black and tan fur, is there baby coat. If you want to know what color the pup MIGHT be. Look at there parent and ask for past puppy pix.

Some do stay that dark tan black in color. My Bella did. She is a yrs old and still has the same colors on her as she did as a pup.

Gruess Gott Anita! A richtigs Minchna Kindl, gell?
