| funny enough I just sent a pm to admin about the same thing!! They want to charge us extra to exchange with those in other countries, which is understandable, but I felt it would be more straight forward to buddy up the UK and European YT members.I am interrested .

Administrator | We have had several European members join in on our Gift Exchanges in the past. From the Gift Exchange Rules thread: The YT Gift Exchange is open to all YT Donating Members from the United States and Canada. If you are anywhere else in the world, there is an additional $20 shipping fee per Gift Exchange to cover the extra cost of shipping items to foreign countries. This fee must be paid before the start of the Gift Exchange for you to participate. The fee will be given directly to your Secret Buddy (minus any Paypal fees, if any), which they can use to apply towards their shipping costs. Shipping from the US/Canada to anywhere else is VERY expensive and this is for those costs. |

| Both me and my daughter took part in the last exchange. It does cost a bit more but it is nice getting presents from abroad.Lots of things you wouldn't see over here. The other thing is they really appreciate it over there too.

| I really liked doing the gift exchange with everyone else, it's nice getting different things we can't get here. Yes it costs slightly more and we have to wait a bit longer, but it's fun!

someone else said if the package is marked "gift" then you don't have to pay the extra fee. Is that true for you? | |
