| When Sophie was super picky, I had the best luck with Natures Variety Raw and Wellness can. Once I had her spayed, she started eating whatever was put in front of here. Good luck, I know it's frustrating.

| Buddy is now 2.5 years old and I dont think that he will ever change his fussy eating habits, he will eat special dog food one night then wont touch it again for months, he will turn his nose up at real meat and sometimes I have to tease him to get him to eat it, I dont have a time table of when he is to eat, as this would not work, as he just leaves his food till he decides to either eat it or not, sometimes he leaves it till the middle of the night and its gone in the morning or I have to chuck it away, he does however eat butchers small dog biscuits but only from a plastic bag and not out of his dish and he will only eat these outside most of the time. Last night I had to chuck away after it stayed there for 2 whole days, fresh beef, tonight he has got lamb and he is refusing to eat it, as he wants his treats instead, he keeps taking me to the cupboard in which they are in, so dont worry, your not the only one with a dog with the most weird habit

| My little one is 6 months and SUPER picky when it comes to food, she doesn't like to eat dog food/puppy food ect. i have to put it in her mouth with a spoon or my hand then she spits it out again. we had to feed her our food ( only things like beef or chicken mabey a little rice on the side) and she is starting to leave that food too and doesn't eat for the whole day, the only things she eats are bones she likes these yogurt treats and loves to eat them but she can't eat many because they are dog treats not actual food. so your not alone on the whole puppy not eating thing |

| I remember my yorkie gave me a lot of work when she was young.. I had to hand feed her at least twice a day to make sure she was eating.. with time she became a big eater and then I had trouble trying not to let her eat so much.. lol I think is Royal Canin have a special veterinary food, or something like that, they tend to like that one (despite of the price) but if she is losing weight you better mix a little bit wet food with the biscuits.. they love it. | [/QUOTE] Hello fairly-near-neighbour!!!! When Harry was a baby, the ONLY thing he would eat was Lilys Kitchen food - I wonder if you've tried it? Natural and Organic Dog Food and Cat Food | Lily's Kitchen A bit of a nightmare, isn't it - but we usually get there eventually...!!!

| difficult eater My yorkie is almost six months and is a terrible eater. She will not eat the same thing twice. I also have to hand feed her to get her to eat much atall, but she is vibrant, healthy, putting on some weight and full of beans, so if I get two meals a day down her I feel lucky. The only thing she insists on is her bedtime biscuit on our bed. I tried her with raw venison mince this morning and for the first time ever she wolfed it down. Chances are she will not eat it again tomorrow. I have tried all the puppy pellets, roast lamb, beef, chicken, turkey, mince - anything, even scrambled egg which she ate off a fork. She would love her food to be left on the floor for her, but I cannot do that as I have two other dogs who would eat it. It is a nightmare, but I must say, she is flourishing whilst I am worrying.
