| Really worried about Tuesday Yorkies getting spayed I have my two yorkies booked in to be spayed next Tuesday, Leah is nearly two and Ellie is 14 months. Ellie had a really bad first season, bleeding heavily and she was so down and miserable. We decided it was for the best to have them both spayed as Leah also has phantom pregnancies after her seasons, plus they both have retained baby teeth. The vet explained everything really well and was very supportive, fingers crossed it all goes well. Just hope I'm doing the right thing.... I'm so worried about my babies. |

| Of course you'll worry but remember your doing what is best for your girls. No unwanted pregnacies and your also making their health better for the future. Good luck to you and them. Let us know how they do. Wishing you the best, |

YT 500 Club Member | spaying i agree, better 2 get it done now. My Chloe had bad seasons that left her really depressed, I didn't spay her as I was showing her, but they got so bad after one she wouldn't eat, it went on for so long she got an intestinal blockage and needed emergency surgery. Luckily she pulled through, I wouldn't put another through that. I also had one who developed pyometra, far better 2 have a few days worry than a life time. |

| Thanks for all your kind words and thoughts, I've had both of my babies clipped down so they will be more comfortable, and will be easier to keep them clean and fresh after their spay surgery. Just waiting for the day to come now, just wish it was over and done. |

| Poppy suffered terribly having a phantom pregnancy after every season. I was petrefied of booking her for surgery and wimped out until she was 3. I am glad now that I had her spayed but I know exactly how you are feeling right now.

| Hi just thought I'd give you an update on Ellie and Leah, took the girls for their stitches checked today and the vet has discovered Ellie's wound is inflamed and she has got Cystitis, shes on antibiotics and metacam until wednesday so fingers crossed she will be ok by then. I'm so glad we had a three day stitches check, Ellie had been crying during the night and I was getting worried about her, so now she has the treatment hopefully we will have a peaceful night tonight. I will let you know how Ellie gets on, Leah is doing fine, full of beans and behaving just like nothing has happened lol.... One out of two isn't bad I suppose |
