| Tino has now come out from behind the sofa but soon as someone knocks on the door or there is shouting on the tv he runs back behind there. He has started sleeping in my bed with me in my arms but he is now being sick all the time and had a bad tummy. I do not know what else to do now. I know me crying and being sick myself is not helping him but i am trying just for him xx

| It could be that he's missing your boyfriend and that the change in his home life is upsetting to him. Or if he's being physically sick then I would suggest it warrants a visit to your vet, just to rule out anything untoward at the very least, and for treatment if there is something seriously wrong. Don't just refuse to take your dog to the vet because you're frightened of what the trouble 'might' be; ring the vet for advice at the very least, for your dogs' sake! |

| I agree; I"d call the vet just to be sure. She might want you to change Tino's food to something a little more bland til his tummy is right again. These little guys really are SO sensitive and it hurts them to be so scared. Can you imagine if you were so little and there was angry yelling and throwing stuff around? I'm 5'8" and it would upset MY stomach; I can only imagine how scared poor little Tino was. Good luck with the baby! Give him tons of love and reassurance and don't let people into your life who are prone to behaving that way; it's just not good for the dog (or you). Take care of you both!

| Call the vet, make him some white rice for a few days and just love him to death. I'm sorry.

| Aww I know just how you feel. I hope that Tino is a little brighter today. One of my girls (although a Chinese Crested and not a Yorkie) is mega-sensitive too just like Tino and I was going through a rough patch a while back and she lost weight. Now when there is any shouting she runs and hides |

| Tino is not really getting any better, he has lost a hell of a lot of weight and now will only eat if i hand feed him. He hides when ever he hears people shouthing out side and stays by myside at all times even when i go to the loo he has to come with me.

| Aww Michelle I am so sorry, I know how our fur babies worry us. I'm trying to think of things that he may eat - my 2 girls are mega fussy. How about trying some of that meat that is in a bit "sausage" type thing. Do you know what I mean? I always think it smells really nice and my girls will eat it too, that and Forthglade. I tend to feed them whatever I am eating too. I hope things get easier for you. |

YT 1000 Club Member | Oh Michelle so sorry to hear of your situation. It will be an ajustment for you and Tino to mourn the loss of this relationship...thankfully you have each other...try to get out with Tino and do some fun things...may change the "mood"... I give KiKi watermelon when she refuses to eat...this gives her a some carbs and it's mostly water for hydration. Good luck.

| Hi Michelle How are you and Tino doing? I have been thinking about you both a lot. Have your tried giving him chicken and rice for a few days? Also, I wonder if you are able to take him for walks, as some extra walks may help him (and you) with stress. Your body releases a lot of adrenaline doing periods of stress and exercise helps get it out of your body and so relaxes you more. Do let us know how things are, Michelle. Luv & Hugs Franceen xx |

| So sorry things are hard for you at the moment. You know guys like this do tend to phone and text and not let you move on. I think, in past posts, you said he has been violent towards you and, if so, then you really owe it to yourself to be strong and tell him not to contact you anymore. It is so hard, I know, as I have seen a friend go through it. She really loved this guy, but she finally realised he wasn't going to change and that she had to stop him coming around/phoning etc after yet another breakup. She found the strength and is so happy now and you can be too. You deserve better and you will find someone who treats you with respect and love, if you will only allow yourself to do so. I am so pleased Tino had a good day out. This is just what he needed. I really think lots of walks like this will help him recover. It will be good for you, as well. Thanks for letting us know how you and Tino are doing. We are all here for you and are thinking of you and sending you both lots of virtual hugs. Luv & Hugs Yvonne xx |
