| Hi and sorry you feel that way...I know you're on the Europe Regional forum but saw your post come up and wanted to say hello. There's not much activity on my regional forum either(mid-atlantic) but I still pop on there to check in so I know how you feel. I do see alot of people from all over on the general forums though...other people from the UK and such. Maybe you can start a thread on the general discussion and title it..anyone from xxxx..just to get an idea of who is from your area. But don't worry...we're all your friends.

| I'm here too. Hello everyone. Do your little furbabies eat everything they come into contact with? When I take Max out, he eats grass, moss, twigs, plants, especially the lavender and heather. He's even eaten worms and snails. I don't let him, but he's like grease lighting. He's also on a lead, because he won't "come to heel" when I tell him. I had to run around a tree for an hour a few weeks ago, before I caught him and I was near to tears. I'm not fit enough to play these types of games lol. Even though I try to pass the plants quickly, and I don't even see him do it, he still manages to get a mouthful. I lost him in the house, which is a small bungalow, and couldn't find him anywhere. I heard noises coming from the back of the television cabinet, and after removing the music system, there he was all tangled up in cables. One of them was around his neck and I gave him a terrible row. I thought "he won't do that again", half an hour ago, he did the same thing. I've blocked both sides of the cabinet up, but he could have been strangled. Oh dear, now I'm babbling on, but have any of you had the endless eating thing and how did you stop it? He does it after he's just been fed too. |

| Oh, dundeemax, I have one just like yours! He's into everything, a real little devil The kitchen bin is his favourite snack bar And he collects EVERYTHING! Nothing is safe. We have to hide anything portable, especially if it's shiny. Yesterday I must have left a biro about, so today I've had to strip the cream loose covers off the sofa & try to get out the very artistic blue ink design Previously it's been mobile phones, TV remotes, cutlery, & I've lost count of the computer memory sticks that have been mutilated. Apart from that he's so good I feel guilty when he looks at me like butter wouldn't melt as I try to keep a straight face & tell him off. |

| Hello Meggie, My husband and I just look at Max and say "he's just got a lot of character", lol. He has been very good today, I almost choke on these words, because I know it's the lull before the storm. I haven't known anyone with a Yorkie, so this is the first close contact I have had with one, and to be honest, I'd look at his face all day, if I could. I love all the little mischievous antics that he gets up to. I can't get him to come to me on command, he thinks it's a game. I haven't been to worried up till now, because he's had so many new things to cope with, but he bolts when I open the house doors. I can see the inquisitiveness in his face, but he's getting faster and stronger. I'm so glad that he isn't the only furbaby to eat everything in sight, lol. |
