| So Proud Of My Boys Yesterday afternoon whilst in the house alone with my boys I had a fit. I am an epileptic and as I had a feeling a fit was about to happen I lay down on the kitchen floor before it started. I came around with Jamie and Alfie sitting either side of my head and licking my cheeks. Jamie who is 9 is used to my fits now and whenever one happens he blankly refuses to be moved away from me. I think Alfie who is only 4 mths old is following Jamies lead. Wherever I went for the rest of the day, my two little boys followed me. My hubby called them my guardian shadows Lol. I hope you all dont mind me sharing this, but I am so proud of my boys looking after me in their own way.

| That is sooo sweet!!! It reminds me of a couple weeks ago when I was very, very sick with bronchitis and I was laying in bed coughing and wheezing like crazy and Chip was sitting on the pillow above my head just watching me. He has extremely expressive eyes and you tell what he feeling just by the look he has and he looked concerned. Smokey layed on my legs the whole time. And who ever said dogs don't understand?!

| Of course dogs understand! No one would ever get me to think differently. I hope that you are on the mend now Ashley? It's a lovely feeling to know that our babies can understand our moods the same as we know and understand them.

| I'm definately 1054893337% better, but my chest is still tight and I cough every now and then. That might just be the weather.

| Hope you're feeling better. Weren't they good! Am I right in thinking that I read somewhere about them training dogs to help with warning people of impending epileptic episodes? Seems like your two fathomed it out all by themselves. xx Meggie |

| Thank you all for your kind thoughts, but I am back to myself and no injuries after the fit. I have read about dogs being trained to tell owners about an oncoming fit and I think that its a wonderful idea, and goes to prove that dogs do understand, sometimes even more than we humans.

| What little darlings they are! No wonder you are proud of them. I have noticed that Tootsy gets very concerned if one of us is not well with a cold or something. It's so sweet, as she will frequently come and look at you with a concerned look, and spends more time with you than usual. The way your two stay with you, throughout your fit and afterwards, is very special, though. Luv Franceen |
