I am a little too far for a meet up....From Ottawa, but anyone else closer to Ottawa that wants to meet up?

I just found the Canadian site, so happy I did...

The Ontario Yorkshire Terrier meetup group has 1-2 other Ottawa members. We decided to have the first TO meetup because we had numerous GTA members but soon hope to expand to other cities as well. Please let me know if you would like to sign up for the group where meetup updates are posted.

YES, but Toronto is too far (5 hrs or so away) but if you have one in Ottawa, let me know, I would really be interested..

Yes, we are hoping if we get 1-2 more interested people in the Ottawa area to soon have one there but everyone interested must belong to the yahoo group Ontario Yorkshire Terrier Meetup. You can go to the link at www.canadianyorkshireterrierrescue.com to join and be kept updated on the first Ottawa meetup.

There is a meet up group in Toronto, they met for the first time last Sunday.You can find out more on the Canadian Yorkshire Terrier rescue website, they started the group , but most who go are not members of CYTR. TracyMay

Terrilepp..I have attempted to go onto www.canadianyorkshireterrierrescue.com and register but it will not allow it and my membership was denied even though I have 2 yahoo accounts..My spouse also attempted and he was denied also, so if this organization has denied both of us for no apparent reason, we are not interested in belonging to such a group, we will find other ways to meet nice Yorkie parents in Ottawa and arrange a meet up!!
