| Looking to be a small dog owner for the first time Hello everyone, I love this site! I've been browsing through since yesterday and I am already addicted to looking at al these cute dogs. I have wanted to get a me a small dog for a while and researched it quiet a bit. I feel like my mind is set up to get me either a Yorkie, a Maltese or the in between Morkie. I check and found many internet ads (kijiji and Craig's list) the prices vary between $500 and $2000. Can't understand why such difference! Any thoughts where I should be looking, and seriously I cannot afford now to pay anything $1000+ |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Welcome. You will love Yorkies. They are sweet, personable and little monsters at times. Just make sure you go to a very reputable breeder ( we have many on here who have puppies occassionally) and the prices are all over based on area you live, female vs male, pet quality, back yard breeders, reputable breeder. Somtimes breeders sell the smaller ones for more. So there are a lot of variables. You can find quite a few yorkies in rescues if that is something you are interested in. Keep us posted
