so his wife used to take care of them...and the puppies are 11 and 12 weeks...so they probably had them for 3 - 4 weeks which means that his wife passed in the past week or so. he doesnt sound too upset about it. and in the earlier add he said they were neutered. i hope to hell there isnt a vet that neuters a 3 pound 11 week old pup!

sad that scammers can advertize on petfinder. i always thought it was for adoptions and was monitored somehow....

Here are the red flags..

1. Poor english (probably out of the country..Nigerian scammer)
2. AKC reg. and they are from Canada..probably they have this posted all over the place and have put that in the ad because they see that is what people are looking for..but if they are from toronto they would most likely be CKC reg.
3. Brindle colouring?? Yorkies are black and tan..not brindle..they probably scam with other breeds too
4. Selling due to moving (they will probably tell you they have already left the country to do missionary work and will ship the puppies to you..they WONT!!
5. They say they will "deliver" please dont fall for this..they will deliver nothing but heartache after you mail them money..and you wait at the airport for dogs that never existed in the first place.

I emailed this person too...I can almost guarentee she/he will tell me the things I have just told you..Ill post their reply as soon as I get it..

This ad looks very much like one I found on Kijiji a few weeks ago... Especially how the dogs name is Hailey cause when I inquired the person on Kijiji why they were selling the dogs for so cheap she sent me a picture of a dog that was supposed to be name Katie, but the photo was titled "Hailey"???
And they were from some place in Africa - Cameroon to be exact! It's a scam - they just want you to send money, but there is no dog...
