| Believe me, you are not going to find a person "getting rid of" their yorkie for free or a cheap price. Yorkies are not cheap dogs in the least. We were lucky when we found ours. We got him for $750, but most are $1000+. If you don't want to spend an arm and a leg, try a rescue group or the animal shelter. Check your local newspaper for ads.

| How does it get cheaper than free? lol Throw in a bag of kibble w/ the pup? Yeah, even rescues charge a fee, you're going to spend some cash to get a Yorkie period, but it doesn't have to be a lot. Good luck on your endeavors! |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Yorkies are not inexpensive to own; if you can't afford even the minimal cost at a shelter you probably won't be able to afford the vet bills. Maybe you should rethink getting that yorkie now. |

As someone suggested, I would look at some local rescue groups. True, they will still charge you a fee, but it would probably not be as much. I understand what others are saying about not being able to afford the medical care required if you can afford the dog, but I also understand that it may not be a case of not being able to afford either, but more so not being willing to pay that much. Personal preference, really... | |
