With the yorkietalk servers being down since friday.... I was so worried that people like yourself would not be able to log on a see the directions. Arrgh! That dumb parking lot attendant where I pulled in said that was the only driveway into the park. I pulled up and said I wasn't sure which parking lot I was supposed to go to, he said, "this is the only way into the park".

I have just recently set up a yahoo group for posters here to keep in touch. Even since it has been back online this morning, I've had it go down briefly two times this morning.

I'm trying to get the members here to sign up there as a way of communicating when this is down. We;ve got a few so far, but only a few.

I wonder why this forum goes down so often? Yesterday's outage could not have happened at a worse time as indicated by what happened to us. I just joined the yahoo group you mentioned, but unfortunately, I could not sign up there using the name "laurenr" as it has already been taken. I do think it is a good idea to join in case we have to post messages when we cannot log on here.

We were there for a few hours. I searched and Searched for another yorkie, but sadly we didnt see anyone!

But Buddah did have fun playing with the ducks. he even took an accidental dip in the pond. Well we should try again for sure and hopefully next time more people can make it and we can all find one another.

Argh!! That now makes THREE of us that were there. What a shame that Yorkietalk was down, because this pic that I had posted showed the EXACT location of where we should meet.

Next time we should PM each other our cell phone numbers too.

is there anyway anyone would ever be able to meet on a tuesday or thursday?! i RARELY get a weekend off :-/

The Specialty Show is on a Thursday, you should go .

I didn't know there was a dinner. I don't know much about it because the YtCLA website doesn't list a time or anything. I spoke to a show breeder who will be going and she said it starts around 9:00 am. But now I can't remember if the show is actually held at the fairplex or at the sheridan. Do you know for sure. Is it at the Sheridan?

I can on Thursdays after 3:00pm. There is a great dog park in Irvine for little ones. I took Buddah there yesterday and he had a blast. Maybe we could go there next thursday around 4?

Hi Ashley!
What street is that dog park on? I know Irvine fairly well, have some good friends there. Do you know if it is close to the Toll road (241 or 261)? I can probably make it on a Thurs, and the traffic is not tooooo bad using the Toll road. Mango I think, is only a month younger than your Buddah, and would love to have a Yorkie puppie to bounce around with.

.... she doesn't know too many. That is why I was so disappointed about not finding you guys on Saturday.

It is on Oak Canyon and Sand Canyon. By the 5 freeway. I really like it there. everyone was really nice and all the little dogs got along so well. I even saw another Yorkie. I'm going to take Buddah there every Monday morning and on my days off. He had a blast. I am sure Mango would have a good time too!
