| Wanted female yorkie Hi! I'm looking for an affordable yorkie. I'm sixteen and my parents are going to make me pay for it when i get a job. I'm looking for one for about $300. I know thats extremely cheap, but hopefully I can find one. I've been looking for about seven months now. Thanks |

| Hi Christina. I think your best bet with your budget is to adopt. Check out www.petfinder.com and you can see a list of all available Yorkies for adoption. Good luck to you.

| I agree with the other two postings. Just note..., there are many costs associated to raising a yorkie besides the fee to purchase it. Not including the cost of my yorkie I think I have spent around $1,000 in the first 4 months that I had him (that includes things like all the shots, heartworm prevention, vet visits, food, toys, bed, training, dog door, pottie pads, grooming, etc.). Good luck finding your baby, just note that it will not just be the $300!

| Hey Christina, today I posted a rescue that is in Texas to another person looking to adopt. Actually I found several rescues available (really cute ) in Texas for around $200 adoption fee. If you want more info, I'll be glad to post it for you.

| Good tip Klogan, I should have mentioned the same. It will be expensive to have a dog. Just be sure that you will be ready financially to take care of the little pup. I've had Bella since January of this year and have spent close to $2000 on her already for grooming, vet visits, spay, toys, food, etc. Good luck to you.

| Well thanks for all the help, but my parents will pay for vet charges. It will be more of a family dog, but I'll be taking the responisbility to care for it though. All the help is greatly appreciated! |
