| Need a Yorkie for my Mom Hi- My mom and I live in Phoenix and we are looking for a Yorkie. My mom needs a companion now that she has relocated here -and after the death of her long time Cocker Spaniel. She has fallen in love with my friend's Yorkie and I want to get her one. I can afford $500. Any ideas? Barb |

| Newspapers and Thrifty Nickels Hi! I have been looking for yorkies for 3 months and had almost bought a $1500 one from a breeder online that I later learned was unscrupulous. That's another story. Anyway, I scoured my local papers every Sunday and the thrifty nickel (some places it is called Penny saver) every Thursday for not only my town but all the towns within a 3 hour radius (see www.thriftynickel.com and then select your town or those nearby and you can read them online!). This Thursday I found yorkies in the thrifty nickel for a town about two hours away and the breeder was selling them for $550 for girls and $450 for boys. I went to pick up a girl saturday and ended up getting the only little boy that was left too. I just couldn't resist! Anyway, that is definately a good way to find them and at a much more reasonable price. If you need more help, I can give you my breeder's info and some others I came across that will have puppies in May. Let me know.

| Does it have to be a puppy or can it be 1 1/2 years old? If so let StewiesMom or myself know.
