I am new to yorkie talk. This was my first post. I have a little girl yorkie who is almost six months. I got her as a birthday present when she was about seven and half weeks old. She is just recovering from a broken leg and I am hoping to meet other yorkie owners, so she can have friends to play with. She is on the small side(2 1/2 lbs) so it would be great to find her a playmate around her size in the area. Sorry it took me a while to post, but I had to go to work. Do you know of any yorkie meeting groups in the area?

I live in Palo Alto but I won't mind coming to the East Bay. BTW: I also found someone in Sunnyvale with a yorkie about 4 months old. I'll ask her if she'd want to come.

I do hope the weather will be better by then. It's been pouring!! I was driving to San Jose on 280 yesterday and my car hydroplaned. I was going at 40mph. It was NOT a fun drive at all!

i can only imagine! i'm trying not to drive too much these days 'cause the rain is just so bad. i hope we have a good week of sunshine before the meet up! meeting indoors is cool, but meeting outdoors with enough space for our yorkies to run around and play without muddy paws is even better! see ya there next month!!!

Hi from San Jose Hey everyone- I am in San Jose and always looking for playmates. I'm also curious where all of you got your yorkies. I am kind of disappointed with soome of the people I have gone to see about puppies. I just don't feel like the dogs were well taken care of and it made me sad.

there is a doggie park in Dublin we should all meet there when the weather gets a bit better here is where it is at you take exit off santa rita turn right on dublin blvd, You take Dublin Blvd. about a mile down until you hit Keegan Street. Turn left onto Keegan, and in about 1/4 of a mile, you'll see the dog park to your left. You'll see it before you hit Finnian Way. The park is hidden away, so you can't see it if you're just driving around in Dublin unless you actually go into Dublin Ranch Villages. let me know if anyone wants to meet their when the weather is better it will be fun

That's a great idea! How about let's shoot for a date and start a new posting? That way people live in the area will know there's a plan. | |
