| Vet in SF Bay Area Hi Baby Princess -- Am wondering if anyone ever got back to you re: a vet in SF area? Or if you ever ended up finding one you feel comfortable with. I'm in the Peninsula/South Bay area and am looking for a vet as well. Would love to hear from you! Thx! |

| If I am correct, and if she still works at this vet, Dr. Margo Mehl has experience with Yorkies. You could call and ask yourself, but I was given her name when I was working through a diagnosis of either MVD or Liver Shunt with my Yorkie. She is very knowledgeable in Liver Shunts and internal medicine/surgery, and being that Liver Shunts are more common in Yorkies than any other breed, it would make sense that she has a lot of experience with Yorkies. You could try to get in contact with her. Hope that helps. Here is the Vet information, if she still works here. San Francisco Vet Specialist |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Thank you all for your response to my question. Since my initial writting, I found the San Francisco Vetenary Specialists clinic, Dr. Jamie Anderson, Internal Medicine, Dentistry. Initial visit went find, follow up visit next on 3/22 to see how Princess' teeth are. I've heard good things about the vets. at this clinic. I'll know a little more on my next visit. Thank you all for your support. Mami Naomi & Princess |

Senior Yorkie Talker | Hi Nellie Belly, Yes I received a recommendation for S.F. Vet. Specialist clinic here in San Francisco. Here's there telephone number 415-401-9200, maybe if you give them a call they can recommend someone in your area that they work with or know. Another source would be the SPCA can recommend a vet. in your area too. The SPCA recommended me to S.F. Vet. Sepcialist. Good luck! |
