| Need Vet Recommendations in Orange, CA Hello, I have a 7-month old yorkie that has double sets of teeth (top and bottom canines) . I need to find a good vet in Orange, Ca . Also, what's the average cost for the teeth extraction in my area? Thanks. |

| We have been taking Zeke to Pet Hospital orange. It is right off chapman and prospect. I am not sure about the teeth extraction. They are really nice there and always make time for you to come in, even the same day. They are pricey when it comes to grooming so I take Zeke somewhere else. But other than that we love the place. |

| Will check with my girlfriend who takes her yorkie to a wonderful vet out your way. There is also the Irvine Vet Hospital, I understand that they are one of the best in Orange County. There is also Dr. Jean Dodd, one of the best in the country. She's located in Buena Park

Wow, really? Is the Irvine Vet Hospital the same as Irvine Blvd Animal Hospital (I read some great reviews on Yelp)? Thank You. | |

| I use Circle of Friends in Yorba Linda. She is very good and has always done a wonderful job. she will even sit on the floor with the dogs if need be. She explains everything. When I had to put my Whippet down she explained everything step by step she sat with me and was so caring. The staff there is also very supportive and helpful. |

| I love Dr David Gordon at VCA Arroyo Veterinary Hospital in Lake Forest. I live in the city of Orange but he is worth the drive. He practices both western and alternative veterinary medicine and will call you on his day off to follow-up if your baby was seen by him and is in recovery from illness/injury. 949-770-1808 Extractions can be expensive because they have to be anesthetized. I had the extractions and spay done at the same time. Cost can vary depending on if you choose to have blood work, EKG and other precautions for the surgery. I am so glad I took all precautions - the EKG showed one of my girls had an irregular heartbeat that could have been very dangerous under anesthesia. We were able to treat her and after some follow-up she was able to have the surgery. Hope this helps and most importantly -- Congrats on your new baby!

| LOL! Seems like everything is more expensive in CA! I don't know why vet bills are so high here but we don't have too many choices. $70 sounds a bit excessive - I don't remember what ours charged for Jolie.
