| cali loves the beach so much more than the parks! currently, we go to del mar dog beach. it's leash-free until memorial day through labor day~ i think that's the dates. we're looking into checking out fiesta island & coronado island during that time of year. the dogs are very well mannered at del mar. i've heard postitive things about coronado also. haven't heard anything about the vibe at fiesta. we've never gone to ob's dog beach. we've been told that it's a "free for all" & owners don't have much control w/ their dogs. if you do go, go at 6am. this is coming from a dog trainer/behaviorist local that only takes her dogs there early in the am. apparently that's when other locals w/ behaved dogs are there. way too early for us! good luck! |
