| Anyone ever by a Biewer Yorkie from Kim Gomez Hi, I saw a classified ad on recycler.com for a 7 month old Biewer Yorkie in Southern CA from Kim Gomez and I was wondering if anyone out here knew her or had dealt with her before? I would like any information you have. I want to make sure I am dealing with someone who knows Biewers and is reputable. Thanks, Scott (Misty's dad) |

| No, don't know her, but, Dee(scrapindee on here) maybe would know, as she's in CA and breeds biewers. I buy mine from Gayle Pruett out of Alabama. Here's Dees website Biewer-Yorkshire-Terrier-House-Of-Wags |

| Thanks for responses Thank you for the responses. We found out the puppy is a re-sale from a breeder in Canada and my wife and I are not comfortable with this type of sale, so we are not pursuing it further. --Scott (Misty's dad) |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | You made a good decision. Many of the LS puppies in the US came from a Canadian breeder. |

| There are many Canadian breeders who have wonderfully healthy puppies so that in and of itself should not be a problem, however I understand about the re-sale issue being a concern. If your interested in Biewers there are some good forums to go to, websites to read and good breeders to talk to. Find some websites that you like the looks of the dogs.. there is a HUGE differnece in the way some of the Biewers look, just like there is in Yorkies. Talk with the breeder and talk to some people who have gotten their puppies. This is a big investment in time, emotion and money. Don't just jump into something. You'll have a lifetime to spend with this wonderful little creature. Make sure you make the best decision possible. There are many threads on YT about Biewers and this is a great place to start. Have fun, do your research.. you'll be happy you spent the time up front. -Diana

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Sorry, didn't mean to imply that LS lines come from Canada--they can come from anywhere. But there is/was one specific breeder from there that has sold many puppies here in the US that have not lived up to her promises: size, health, temperment. I also think the reselling is because someone is unhappy. Greenwood made some excellent suggestions, for finding Biewer clubs, forums, and pictures. Google is a great tool. |

| GreenwoodBiewer... I am very interested in Biewers and wondering if you could tell me how to find good forums, websites and good breeders to talk to as you mentioned. I have looked at the photos of your dogs and they are absolutely beautiful. I only learned of Biewers this past week. |
