| I need to find a temporary home for my two kittys I am in desperate need of a temporary home for my two 6 month old male neutered cats. I have to be out of the house I am renting by Oct 6 and my husband is leaving me. I found a place for me and the 2 yorkie girls but the place where we are going to stay the girl is allergic to cats. I am so upset I am already losing my husband and the big mastiff I cant bear to lose everyone all at once.. I am a wreck. Do any of you know any place I could leave them for 2 months and i will pay for their food and litter and be more than willing toi visit...

| Someone please help if you can! I'm so sorry to hear everything you are going through. Keep your head up girl! Time heals all wounds and you will make it through this. Just keep your friends close (you will need them). This also happened to me (many years ago) almost word for word, but my best friend left with my husband. I had a pregnant Rottweiler ready to deliver 13 puppies and 2 indoor kitties. My Vet was able to kennel my kitties and one of my "other" girlfriends took my Rotti and the upcoming puppies. So ask your Vet, they might be able to help you out. For myself I lived at the "Extended Stay America" which is design for business people who come into town for long periods of time. They have kitchens in your room and laundry areas on site. They also rent by the month. They are very clean and comfortable to live in. I'm sure they have them in your area if your in need of a place to stay. I'm not sure their policy on pets, because this was 15+ years ago. I would go and visit with my kitties every day until I was back on my feet. It was the happiest hour of my day... just sitting on the floor in the kennel room, loving my babies. I will never forget those long talks I had with them. Finally after 3-1/2 months we were all under one roof again. It was a hard 3-1/2 months, but I knew I had to do it, for all of us to be together again. Looking back on this time in my life... I'm so glad I had my fur-kids to spend it with me. Even though, my fur-kids are no longer with us, they lived a long happy life, with me! I'm very sorry I can't help you out. I'm in Northern California; I have 2 cat; 1 parrot; a Yorkie; and a boyfriend all in a 1 bedroom apartment. I sure hope someone will come to your aid and help you out. I know it took a lot for you to ask for help... but you are going in the right direction... keep asking for help and don't forget what I said earlier... KEEP YOUR HEAD UP! Best of luck to you! and many ((hugs))

| I found my solution today! American airlines will fly them to my Mom in Columbus Ohio for a reasonable amount of money. I promised my mom I would come back to live once my job was over here in CA which I am guessing will be by February. Im so happy but I feel bad that they have to fly cargo.

| What a great Mom! I'm so happy to hear your mom will care for your kids until you move back home. This is a great solution and it will give you comfort knowing they will be cared for with your Moms love. This will help relieve some of your stress. Talk to YT people who travel to dog shows. They will be able to help you with information you might not think about when sending your kitties to Moms house. Your Vet also give them something to rest during the trip so they arrive rested. If you can't find someone to talk to, I will contact Lola's Show Breeder who travels several times a month with several dogs. She also sends them alone for Breeding. I would be happy to help. When the time comes for you to travel home with your Yorkie-Babies your doctor can write you a Prescription or Letter for them to travel with you in the cabin. I'm not sure all the detail... If you need to purchase them an extra seat, put them under your seat, travel with one or two dogs, or which Airline allows them. I'm sure you can find someone on YT that can help you with those details. Best of luck and don't stress! Airlines transport pets all the time.
