I know there are a lot of people on the west coast and surrounding states on this site that have Yorkies and other dogs, that want to get together with their babies and meet other people that enjoy this breed.

Some people may not be able to travel to far from home... So I would like to know if anyone would be interested in getting together HERE IN CALIFORNIA..?? If so PLEASE let me know.

I have talked with some people on here and on other sites, that would love to see a California get together started.
Since Some people will be flying out I DONT THINK making it a one day thing would be WORTH the $, SO This would be a WEEKEND get together.

Im interested... depending on when/where your trying to do it... I tried to start something similar a few months ago. However, there are so many members in So Cal, that it became a little hard to determine a good location. Keep me posted

Hello,
I think that would be fun, I would be interested in going. I will be getting my puppy in January, so after she is a few months old I would be interested in going. (I just want to get all her shots before she takes a vacation.

I am in Bakersfield, Ca and I was thinking of Lake Buena Vista.

It is a nice lake for boating, fishing, camping and large get togethers.

I would love that Lana. We could take our 5th wheel out to the lake.Great idea!!! Another nice place is three rivers. They have some little cabins there to for those that don't have trailers. http://www.kaweahparkresort.com/

As long as it doesn't conflict with the International YorkieTalk Meet-up that I'm organizing for Kansas City next June, then I'd definitely be interested

How far of a drive are the potential locations from Los Angeles? If it is within a few hours driving, I would definitely be down for a big Yorkie playdate!

Buena vista is probably about 2 hours maybe a little bit less.

Have you guys tried Meetup.com? When we were socializing we went to several local meetups--one particularly in San Francisco that has over 500 members!

I am sure there are already meetups in the making in So Cal on the sight.
