I'm not sure for Kansas either.
I'd love to go but I'm kind of broke so I have to see if I can save some moeny next couple of month....
Do you happen to know if they have a list of hotel or motel where we can have our furbaby??

Ok this what I am thinking... This meetup is going to be small.. Not as BIG as I wanted because I have been getting alot of people wanting to have one right away..

So it will be a small get together FOR NOW... Only because I will not have a WHOLE lot of time to get everything set up and in motion really soon.

So PM me and let me know which of these dates you like. OR what is BEST for you .. and the date that gets the most votes will be the date we hold the meet on.

I was thinking IF it was the BIG meetup..It would be at a lake and get campsites and set up hotel rooms for those that fly in or did not have a rv or 5th wheel or who dont like to camp.etc. So since this is going to be a small meetup then it will be at park with PLENTY of trees and that will be close for everyone to get to, and furkid friendly.. We have several great parks here.. So I will scout them out and see which one I think is going to be the very best.. and close to hotels & freeway access

I'm 3 hours from Bakersfield and 2 1/2 from LA. Even the freeway doesn't come past here.

LA scares me to death, so I won't go down there unless my husband drive.

Going to Bakersfield is on a winding two lane and not a fun way to travel. I'm between a rock and a hard place for sure.

If I do go to Bakersfield, I'd love it to be May 10th, since it does get blistering hot out in that desert by the end of May. A shady cool camp site would be really nice, but so would an AC motel. Do they have a Mariott Residence Inn there Lana? It's the best since they are kept spotless, up to date and allow dogs. The suites are great and they do a wonderful breakfast at not extra charge.

Ok everyone after many posts and pms we have come up with a DATE

This is going to be small meetup not a big convention meetup.. Just bring yourself your babies and your cameras so you can take lots of yorkie pictures of the meetup.. You will make new friends and so will your furbaby. This will be a fun day

If you are interested in attending PLEASE send me a PM or email me that way we will know how many will be attending... to make this meetup work

Date : May 24th 2008. ~ Its on a Sat.

Time : 10am - WHENEVER

Location : Saunders Park ~ Right by the 99 Hwy

Hmmm...since that's Memorial Day weekend and so close to the Kansas City meet-up, I'm not sure if I'll be able to attend. Where is Saunders Park? I have no idea where 99 Hwy is
