| Breeder: Kim Brock - Henrietta, Texas Wagin Tails Yorkies I purchased a Female Yorkshire Terrier and Male Yorkshire Terrier in late 2005 and early 2006 from Kim Brock located at Henrietta, Texas 76365, her web site is www.YorkieLuv.com. Before the female started to show more signs of a problem I had already finalized the sale of my male. This is the story for my male. We went to the airport to pick up our boy, as soon as I held him his chest felt congested and sounded awful. He was coughing and we didn't know what was wrong but we knew he wasn't ok. Took him home and the next day I immediately took him to our Vet, which diagnosed him with an pneumonia and kennel cough. X-rays were done and he had fluid in his lungs. Instead of being able to enjoy our boy we had to medicate everyday and isolate him from our other pets. It took months to get better from the pneumonia, then shortly after the start of his treatment for that, back to the Vet, he was diagnosed with ear infection. Eventually he was also diagnosed with ringworm after me and my daughter both got a lesion. It took like 1 year to rid of the ringworm. Mean while our girl whom had arrived to us a bit earlier, had flaking and pink looking skin on her muzzle, tests were done and once again ringworm. She was treated for that but as the weeks went by her body started to show signs of a skin problem, which was diagnosed as a skin infection. More medicines, medicated baths, holistic foods, she would improve sometimes. Eventually the girl was properly diagnosed as having Demodex after more than a yr. Female was purchased for breeding which now she cannot be. It is now unknown how she will respond to the proper treatment if at all. What is known is that she doesn't have the immunity necessary to rid of this condition without treatment like a healthy dog would. I will say that Kim did reimburse me a small amount for the vet costs early on when the first problems occurred, not nearly enough to cover my time and losses. But in hopes to prevent others from making a mistake I must tell my story and personal experience. Regardless of how long it has been these dogs were sent to me with these conditions. I have been contacted via PM's from a few people that have purchased from her and also had problems with their dogs health when received. I will leave it up to them if they choose to speak out. Kim doesn't care about the health of these animals that are being sold/shipped, it is simply a way for her to give the problems/suffering to others. It is all about the money that can be made for her. Her guarantee is as good as being able to sell a sick dog to people and get away with it. So if you are looking for a reputable breeder, that stands by what she sells, regardless of how long it has been, a healthy pet to enjoy and love, I would stay far far away from purchasing a Yorkie from her. You may just be one of few that get lucky but it is not worth it. The beauty and the pedigrees mean nothing when you get bad health. I do not recommend purchasing from her.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Ms. Brock has been discussed here before. If I'm not mistaken, she also joined here and was banned for multiple user names... I'm sorry that you've had to go through this.

| Yep, I recognized the name and site as soon as I saw the thread posting. She's sold sick/unhealthy dogs to others on here. Sad that this repeatedly happens with the same breeder and we only hear about the few that post here. Imagine how many others out there have had dogs with health problems because of her.

| I'm so sorry this has happened to you and both of your pups .... You could try and report her to ASPCA..the animal shelter...and the county health officials and also try putting a complaint in to the BBB.... Her facilities need to be investigated, those pups may be living in poor conditions....Good luck

| Thank you. I am doing everything I can a bit at a time and thank you Kimberley for posting the threads. I am sad and sorry for the others that have also had a bad experience. I am sure she will get hers someday, hopefully soon rather than later.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Someone else bought one of her dogs for breeding (male) and he turned out to be monorchid. Had to have extensive surgery to have the retained testicle removed and the breeder couldn't have cared less!

So glad YT isn't like that now! Seriously though, doesn't sound like a nice person to be getting involved with... I don't think I would purchase a pup from her...

| I remember seeing this website a long time ago. I'm sorry you have gone thru this but my advise is to buy your new addition from someone that gives you their vets number and gives them permission to talk to you. |

Lovin' 2 Girls Donating Member | gheeee....You'd think she'd accidentally produce a healthy baby once in awhile?? I'm sorry for these experiences. More sorry she's still breeding, and even more sorry for the conditions these babies must be living it!

| I am sure this is an older thread, but had to add my 2cents... I too not knowing about Kim brock, bought a male dog, it was terrible what he went through, took us 5 months to get his tummy sorted out from worms. she did nothing, sent me paperwork from the vet that said luxating patella 4, and when I questioned this, she did not know what LP was. Did nothing for me, no money, played the normal game, when i get one like him of equal value then he can be replaced. Long sad story. She is still doing business as I write this... sad sad... pooh's mum |

| Wow!!! Two posts about Kim Brock in the same day! As I said on the other post, I was told not to buy from her over 20 years ago. I was so surprised to see her name after all these years. |
