| WOw really???? I actually bought my Kobe from there last January. The guy, Mike and his family seemed nice....I did notice they had a lot of dogs...but I guess I didnt think anything of it, since the place was clean and he let me look around. Hmmmmm....and I was actually thinking about buying a lil sister for Kobe....I'm nervous now. Maybe because it was hard to understand his bad english (I'm not trying to be funny, I'm so serious) that he came off as harsh?? I dunno....what else did you notice?? The only thing I was pissed about was when he was getting my Kobe ready to go home, he cut his nails to far back and he was bleeding!!! |

| When you start looking for a puppy try http://ytca.org/frame_index2.html. They list area breed clubs and breeders that are reputable who might have nice puppies or could put you in contact with breeders that do. This way you don't have to worry about buying from puppymills and bad back yard breeders. Good luck.

Well this is my story.. I called him to ask if he has adult ones maybe because it is reasonable. He keep saying come over and we will talk about it and show you what we have. So I got there and told me that the older they are the more expensive they get?!!?? So I said okay can I see them so they show me one and she is filthy, her coat is shaved off and they are asking $2000 for her. For a puppy I guess it's okay price but for 5 years old and doesn't look well taken care of .. I said no...so he showed me a much older one that look worse than the first one and more expensive because she has a red face??!! He said she was rare that's why he is asking for more. So I said no then I ask if I can look around the backyard and my goodness, they have alot of dogs and got them debarked because of the neighbors. I don't you could tell who is the father of those puppies. They look happy because there are so many of them but I think they are puppymill because they obviously only want my money and just keep producing puppies for quantities not quality.

| WOW!!!!! OMG!!! I did notice that he was finicky with the pricing....for example, over the phone he told me 1100, then when I got there, the price moved up to 2100. He obviously saw how much I wanted a yorkie and thats why obviously, he was able to raise the price. Well then I def. will not be buying another yorkie from there!! I mean, if someone is as good (as I thought he was), there WILL NEVER be an instance where ANYONE is making claims such as the puppys being dirty and debarked!!! OMG!!! I think that is the cruelest thing ever!!!! There is a place that my Aunt went to near Corona that is good....she has never had any problems, had great things to say, and I found out later, paid 1000 less than I did for her girl. Let me know if you want the contact info! And wow....I am sooo sorry for your experience!! |

| WOW!!! I just thought about it!!! Mike is full of crap!! "The older they get...they more expensive..." ??? That doesnt even make sense!! If it did, then why did he charge me 2100 for a teacup puppy @ 8wks old??? WOW!!! |

I have one more question.. Did you go to the backyard? where the dogs are??? Don't you think there were too many of them? And noticed that they are all shaved off and longing for attention??

Yeah, your right about that! I also didnt discover yorkietalk until after I bought my dog! And yes, I did go to the backyard and I did notice that some of the dogs were shaved....honestly I guess I didnt question it because I assumed he did that because it was easier than to groom the dogs?? After being on this site...I would have def. asked questions about it! And you are so right about the dogs longing for attention!!! I DID NOTICE THAT....but silly me assumed that they were just playful hyper pups!! Ohhhh...I feel soooo bad now! But you learn from your mistakes!! And thanks for posting this!!! I was going to buy another pup from him....NOT ANYMORE!!!! And I am sooo sorry that you experienced that!! | |

| Yeah, mike is not a good breeder, he is only after money. we bought a shih tzu (he had two at the time) from him and it died from giardia and coccidia in a week. Even the replacement puppy (which we argue like mad to even get a replacement) had giardia and coccidia and when we told him so he can prevent others from getting sick, he got mad and said that he was a "good" breeder. I would never buy another dog from him. We were too naive at the time when we bought it. When we thought we were experienced enough, we find out we are not. I got lots of other details. But I wouldn't want to bore you. Just don't buy from him! |

| I bought a Yorkie from him also on Dec 7. The day after getting him home, he was showing signs of kennel cough! And at first, he looked like he had a really thick coat, but after trying to groom him, it was really because his coat was full of knots and feces! I had to cut out all the knots and feces because it was impossible to brush out. Then, after taking him to a vet, he was also diagnosed with the kennel cough, worms, and giardia! I also have to mention that when I was buying my puppy, Mike was trying to give me AKC papers that belonged to a different litter (he said the papers were left over from a previous litter and that since the sire was the same, it didn't matter). I made him sign a contract to get the real papers and am still trying to make sure he really applies for them. Also, as I picked up the puppy, he was filling in the shot records for the past few months. And after all the visits to the vet, I'm pretty sure he didn't really administer the shots. |

| PLEASE call AKC and tell them about trying to give you papers from a old litter. They are VERY STRICT about this and it does matter!! They will want to know about this so they can do some checking on his breeding practices!! If you buy a registered pup you deserve the correct date of birth and correct parents. AKC will be able to tell you if he even registered that litter of pups you got yours from. I guessing he didn't if he is trying to give you papers from another dogs litter. take care |

Welcome to yt . I hope your puppy is feeling better. I didn't purchase a dog or puppy from him tho because of the fact that he is rude to us when we were there and quoted us a lot more money for older dogs that doesn't even look healthy. That is very good that you asked him to sign a contract but still, it might not be the real parents (just my thought) because they have so many dogs running around.
