You hit it right on the head. Definitely sounds like someone is on here to drum up business.

It really sickens me that breeders continue this "teacup" myth just so they can make $$$ from uneducated buyers
Why is it OK to use the word teapot and not teacup

supposedly "teapot" is a term made up here on YT for the bigger yorkies..it's supposed to be a spoof off of the term "teacup".

Personally, I'm not a fan of either term and wouldn't say teapot yorkie either. But I realize the teapot is just a joke and not meant to sell overpriced dogs to uneducated buyers

I think they are poking fun at those that use the term teacup and also the fact that their beloved family member is larger than the standard.

I just went and took a look at the site. I have to admit that a dog raffle is quite an idea. You make people pay $5 to only win a chance to put more money in your pockets.

The reason we got into this business from the first place is because my wife's parents (Gina) are breeding the Yorkies for many years in Korea. They are breeding very high quality puppies and also very small.
We also breed some of the puppies over here on our location. We have one sire - Eli and two dams - Booba and Hiedi.
Heidi has now 4 puppies that are ready to go and you can see their pictures and info on our website.

if you are advertising puppies for sale, which you seem to be, you need to post a "for sale" ad on the right forum. You are breaking rules the way you are posting them here.

I agree with you. When I was reading their posts before, I was thinking that everytime they post they mention having puppies for sale and it sure sounds like advertising to me.

And just a note to StarYorkies...."teacup" yorkies are not allowed to be advertised here

I am not sure what ever came out of the story or if they are still open for business and selling sick dogs. Maybe trying posting this on millbusters.com which is YTs sister forum. They are doing what they can to get the word out to everyone about puppymills and the horrors that happen there.

They are still open for business and still selling sick pups. Assuming you are referring to the one in Hockley Texas, Brushy Creek.

Angry Raffle?!

HellO! Did you guys see that there is a raffle for a yorkie puppy on THAT website? $5 to participate. Just crazy. AND i'm curious if you're chosen, how is it decided which pup you will win?! Could it just be a scam? Raffles earning more than $500 (I believe, not 100% sure on the figure) have to be registered in the State of Florida. Meaning, a second, un-related party must monitor the contest, etc.. just thinking...

IRRRR!! Im sorry Im so irked by this, so Im going to just spill it. I apologize for my anger in this, but Im just so passionate after Oprah airing and reading Humane society and Main Line Animal Rescues horror stories lately.

So Ben, Im wondering.....If you research all the REPUTABLE breeders on here, they despise the word teacup and are very concerned by people who try to breed small Adults in efforts to get even smaller pups. ALL your thumbnails SHOW OFF the smallness of your pups....aka...sitting them next to a coke can....ALSO---AKC and the Yorkshire Terrier Breed standard DO NOT recognize the weight of pups you aim to produce. If you are as true to the BREED as you say you are....why not follow INTERNATIONAL YORKSHIRE TERRIER STANDARD??? (Korean pups would fit that "international" standard too!)

Im sorry...hopefully its not just me, but your attempts to come on here and redeem yourself have only made me lose more respect for your practices.

One last thing....I consider myself very open-minded and was willing to listen to the kudos by some of your purchasers.....but I find it not in your favor that the ONLY people who will say good things about you had only 1 post, were newbies on THE SAME DAY..within 15 minutes of each other!!! Im sorry but reputable breeders dont have to ask for positive attention on here. Their work and honor for the BREED STANDARD speaks for themselves and many others send "unforced" kudos about them. Apparently, your actions speak louder than words too....and Im sorry but in my opinion ITS IS NOT IN YOUR FAVOR!!!

Teeth With all the respect

I see that there will be no end to this argument. You guys will always have something to say because you just don’t know the truth. So; I will offer you a deal.
I invite everyone to visit our kennel and see how good of people we are how nicely we take care of our babies and how beautiful they are. After your visit you can write whatever you want as much as you want. Until then, please don't keep writing things that are hurting me and my family with no reason. We are good people and give our share to the community. We fed 100 needy children last thanks giving and planning on feeding a 1,000 this year.
So take my offer and come pay as a visit. You are welcome
