Default Highly recommend Marie!!!!

Dee_F,
Good for you for posting this response about Marie. I came across this forum several months ago and also thought it was incredibly unfair and even questioned the credibility, the agenda, of the author. I even mentioned it to marie. She wasn’t aware of the site.
I was and am so upset about the posting because, like you, I know that this does not properly depict marie and the way that she conducts business. I know because I have 4 cavaliers. the last 2 purchased from marie.
You see, I love all of my cavaliers, but my oldest two are not the epitome of health. I won’t go as far as to say they were puppy milled because how would I know. However, they have a number of ailments that are commonly associated with over breeding and indeed with puppy mills. As I have fought through these problems after my purchases, their breeders were never available to assist and the few times that I actually got a hold of them, they had little good advice to provide.
This is why it been an absolute delight to find marie. She has been the exact opposite than the first two breeders that I dealt with. I really have had no issues with the 2 cavs that I purchased from marie and she is always there by email or phone to assist with any questions that I have had. The truth is, she has counseled me more on the two cavs I didn’t purchase from her than the two that I did. But that is just how she is. A great person, a friend to canines, extremely knowledgeable, and an outstanding, professional business woman.
Marie was recommended to me by a couple of people at my local dog run and I have recommended marie to several others since. Off the top of my head, I know 4 other customers or marie. I have heard nothing but positive (VERY POSITIVE) feedback. I intend to ask them to post their experiences here too.
I also whole heartedly recommend marie!
I feel a little guilt that I did not speak up sooner, but am glad you did dee f ( I have sent you a private message).

Default Are you kidding me...

Marie from celtic irish is the best.. period. Im sorry to hear of people having problems. As for our experience of our now almost 3 years old westie..He is 1 healthy boy..Matter of fact 1 1/2 years ago he had gotten out of the house and ingested something so toxic the vet said he wouldnt make it.. He was sure of it! However he put him on an iv fluids and kept him for 2 days, while I went home and cried like never before..My boy pulled through and now is back to tip top shape with no signs of it ever happening.. shocked the vet.. who said it was a testiment of how healthy this dog was!
So lets be fair with all the westie owners out there this forum found a few bad experiances. Im 100% sure that Marie would never knowingly had sold sick dogs and ruin her reputation. She backs her dogs with a guarentee and you have time to get a vet check and return the dog if not healthy..
P.S I just came across this thread looking for a girlfriend for my boy . I dont know anyone associated with prior postings but to all good luck and give your animals much Luv and a head scratch from me.

Default Marie has my whole hearted recommendation.

Dear forum,
I am one of the "repeat buyers" Dee F refers to above. Although I am not really a forum-ista (nor a small biz owner such as she), Dee convinced me to provide my 2 cents (sorry it took me so long).

I too have had nothing, but positive experiences with Marie. Having purchased 2 yorkies from her over the last 4 years, I have and will continue to recommend her to friends and acquaintances. Although I am not very knowledgeable of the attractive characteristics of yorkies, those who are have complimented my 2 yorkies on a number of occasions. I do know a healthy dog from a not so healthy dog. My 2 sweathearts are certainly of the healthy variety having never had any serious health issues.

Marie has stayed in close contact with me since my first purchase (trading puppy photos, tips, advice, jokes, etc) and has always been available to answer questions that I have had. Many of the questions have been from other yorkie owners whose breeders aren't as willing to assist after the sale. Marie is clearly as much a puppy lover as the rest of us on this forum.

I find it very hard to believe that Marie would deal in the murky world of puppy mills. On one occasion she steered a friend of mine away from purchasing as the living situation wasn't 100% suitable for a dog (details omitted to protect the friend).

In short, Marie has my whole hearted recommendation.

I understand some people stand by this woman Marie but when you are buying a puppy from a breeder they should NEVER come home to you with any sort of sickness OR kennel cough!!!! If they are a good breeder they will not come home to you sick so maybe some of you have had great experiences but too many other people have had horrible experiences and that speaks for itself in my book. I live in NYC and was recommended to Marie but I chose to fly out of state to a breeder that I trusted and it was worth the flight because I have a healthy, happy dog that was everything i was told he would be. I am so sorry for these peoples losses and sickness in a time when you should be enjoying bringing your baby home.

Angry Marie

I am not fully getting into it.. but the short of it is, Marie buys dogs from puppy mills in Ireland ..there's no relatives.. her favorite line.. Ahem, lie. don't fall for it, it is truly a lie. when you buy a dog from her you are supporting the puppy mills.. no different than walking into a pet shop and supporting them... just think, the puppies gets to leave and the poor moms and dads stay until they die a horrible death. Keeping Marie in business is giving more dogs death sentences.
For all of you who love and care for animals, find a good reputable breeder, do your research.. many "breeders" out there have really good sales pitches , and soft hearts will fall for it for the love of a puppy… so for the love of the parents, don’t support mills , AKA Marie.

I am truly sorry to those who bought from her. I know you must love your babies. I am sure you fell for her lies. You are a victim of her deceit.

Please, don't do it a second time and please think twice before you send someone you know her way.
