| Susan Boyd Brenda Lange Bad Breeder Minnesota I am new to the world of Yorkies. I have a new Yorkie mix. and love her so much. We are having a ball with her! I've had Corgi's and a Yellow Lab mix in the past. I have become aware of a horrible breeder in Brook Park Minnesota. Susan Boyd and Brenda Lange have a license to sell to pet shops and they sell on their internet site pups2pets.net. I found information on them through petshoppuppies.com. In a 2009 inspection report they had 206 adult dogs in their barn. Susan Boyd's AKC was suspended for a period for falsifying Yorkie registration. This is a puppy mill. From the records I could dig up they were also known as Double B Kennels years ago. They have been at it for years, looks like 3 generations. Brook Park is a very small town in MN about 1 1/2 hours north of Minneapolis. Blink and you will miss the town. Just hoping that others will google her name to find out exactly what her "family dog business" actually is. Horrible cruelty in the name of making a buck. |

| Online website Pups2Pets.net is puppy mill Susan Boyd and Brenda Lange operate under Pups2Pets.net website. I'm trying to get the word out there. Puppies may be healthy, but the hundreds of Mom and Dad are in misery. Please don't buy online. |

| Hi Reneevil, I'm from the Minneapolis area. I think I've heard of this person. Is she still operating her business? They need to be shut down! Last edited by Patty; 06-10-2013 at 05:48 PM. |

| In addition to puppies, she also is a horse jockey. She knowingly sold me a totally lame horse a few years back. A pretty paint horse named Echo. She drugged him or something. Then refused to do anything about it, wouldn't take the horse back, wouldn't give me some money back, nothing. Horse ended up being put down. Brenda is a swindler, and i hope she reads this....loser |

| Emotionally drained We recently purchased a morkie puppy from a breeder in Brook Park, Mn The breeders name is Susan Boyd. We were excited because we had gotten a dog from her 3 years back and had no issues so I never thought anything of it. Anyway, we brought the dog home and she was fine. running around etc. The next day, not 24 hours later, she was almost completely unresponsive. We rushed her to the vet. At first they thought she had diabetes. They did a bunch of tests, sent us home. I called Susan to let her know what was going on. She didn't say much, just to keep her updated. After a few days the medicine the vet had given us was not working so back to the vet we went. They now thought she maybe had a liver shunt, and wanted us to go to the U of M and have an ultrasound done. They finally got it figured out. She is hypoglycemic. And should make a full recovery. That was all within 2 weeks of getting the puppy. The puppy I was told when I got her that she was fine. I was told she was 2lbs. (She was only 1lb 5oz!!!) I decided to send Susan and email (wanted a paper trail) and told her everything that had happened. She immediately got defensive, and accused me of not taking care of the puppy. She said if I had just given it corn syrup we wouldn't have had any of these problems. She said she had been doing this for 30 years and knew what she was doing. Needless to say we will NOT be getting another dog from her. I know if we would have left Miley there that she would not have survived. Our vet told us corn syrup is something to use only if absolutely needed, not on a regualar basis. We are happy to say now that after a couple of weeks, Miley is doing much better!!! She has more energy that our other 2 dogs and us combined!!!!! |

| How scary. The poor dogs. How obvious of a puppy mill can petshoppuppies.net get? Does there have to be a puppymillpuppies.com website for people to realize that they're purchasing from a puppy mill?

| Thank you for posting information you have found on this "breeder". I would like to say there are reputable breeders that DO sell our babies from our websites......people look at our websites and the puppies we have produced, read mission statements, goals, see breed clubs we are affiliated with, etc, so people have to do their homework about any website or breeder that has a website. I show pics of any available dogs I may have, on my website as well as past babies....not pages and pages of line ups of babies for sale.....fortunately, most of my new owners have been on my waiting list, have been scrutinized for ownership approval and have purchased a puppy they have waited for for 1-2 years....but I think people can safely look at websites, look at the babies they have on there, but be forewarned that unless you are dealing with a breeder you KNOW is reputable, you MUST do your research. A reputable breeder will want to know just as much about YOU as you do about THEM!!.....a "breeder" can put any pic on that website, and can make any claim they want to....Buy your breeder first, THEN look at what they offer in puppies, contracts, health certificates, and reputation! | Brenda Lang Susan Boyd I had just made an appt. with Pups2pups, then I decided to google them. I came upon this sight, thankfully! I have since cancelled my appt. Yes they are in business. They are located 10 miles west of Hinckley mn. I have always had dogs. My last three were Shihtzus I have been thinking the morkie might be a nice choice. But I am not sure. And now I am not sure where to find a breeder, that I can afford. Thank you so much for posting this info. Their page,ad pictures look so nice, and sound so nice. |

| OMG - next victim well, almost! I had picked the puppy of my dreams after taking a few days to decide. Texted and told her I would be sending my 'Deposit!" When she sent me the name and address to send it to the 3rd bell and whistle went off in my head! It was not this person I have been texting yet this "Susan Boyd" so - I googled her name - low and behold WOW found this information! I already had red flags, like A) she never once asked me where the puppy would be living, or if I had other pets, children etc...she never asked me if I was able to even take care of this puppy!" NOTHING about myself-NOTHING! B) Didn't offer pictures of the parents! I am heart broken now - that I am back on the road to finding myself a puppy. I am a single mom, soon to be saying goodbye to my youngest son, my baby, off to the Navy - I have raised Yorkie's and they are an adorable companion, I thought I would give a Morkie a try, as they appeared to be "Cheaper." but "Cheaper" came with a cost I guess - high vet bills probobly! BUYER BEWARE! I cried a little...then relized I am not letting this women get to me. All those poor puppies...need a good home, but a risk I, as a single mom cannot take to possibly be facing the expense of a huge vet bill(s). Thanks Ya'll! Although I do not have a puppy yet, my Prayers were answered today!! If anyone knows of a honest trustworthy breeder in MN around the Twin Cities area... please let me know. |
