Donating YT 1000 Club Member | You might have some success asking in the regional forum: Tri-State Area (NY/NJ/CT) USA - YorkieTalk.com Forums - Yorkshire Terrier Community Alternatively you could try grooming yourself It's just hair & will grow back if you mess up a little.

| I wish I could help you, but I want to welcome you here anyway. I personally don't know anyone in your area, although I know there are a few groomers to choose from. I groom Katie myself, but if I decided to take her to a groomer, I'd probably go with a small Yorkie show breeder who is a groomer. I never went to her, but I know someone who does. Amy is in Farmingville which is about 23 miles east of you. I had a couple of really bad grooming experiences with my Yorkies at the Rainbow Bridge, so I am very hesitant to take Katie to a groomer. YT is such a wonderful community with such caring, knowledgeable people. After more than thirty years of having Yorkies in my life, I continue to learn so much. I hope you join us here.

| This is a link to the YT member who is a show breeder/groomer in Farmingville. You could send her a PM and ask her if she has recommendations for you. As a member of the YTCGNY, I'm sure she knows a lot of people who are experienced with Yorkies. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/mem...itor_messaging
