| Great Yorkie Breeder in Kernersville NC I bought Mollie from a pet store 11 years ago. I have been lucky because she has never had any major health issues. She has always had a small ober bite When she was 9 she started having trouble due to her teeth When I got Lizzie my husband was against pet stores due to the puppy mill issue. So I started doing my research and found a ton of bread who want 1500 to 2400 per pup. I did pay 1200 for Mollie. These breeders always had the same pictures up when they announced new puppies Which was alarming and they wanted to bring the puppies to me. This was another red flag. I kept searching I found a small web site that let you look for breeders by zip code. This is where I found Tammy. She breeds the dogs simply because she loves the breads. She invited me and my husband to come out an look at the puppies and meet mommie and Daddie. She had a small building in the back of her house with maybe 5 females and one adorable little stud She socialized them before they come home and they are wormed and have their first set of shots. She had references and pictures of pups she had sold all over the US. She will make travel arrangements for them She want let them go to her new home till they are fully weened and have reached a certain weight Lizzie who is now two is health and well adjusted. The vet said she was perfect example of her breed. When we decided to get Abbie I of course looked up Tammy again. I lucked up because she had 4 girls and 1 boy The mommie turned out to be the same as Lizzie's, but her little stud had died so Abbie is her 1/2 sister and she is perfect as well If any one is looking for a breeder do your research and 11 yrs later I would say avoid prt store puppies. If the breeder want let you come to them be aware they may be puppy mille breeders and in it just for money |

| You never said the name of the breeder? A great review, but no name, also you should NEVER purchase a dog from a "petshop", NEVER! Welcome to YT and thanks for sharing your story.

| The breeder is The breeder I use is Tammy Stanley in Kernersville NC. She is great with her puppies. I bought Mollie right out of college she was my dream dog. I have learned a lot since 1996. I volunteer with rescue groups and I would never use the pet shops again. Those are almost Lways puppy mill dogs. I got lucky with Mollie she is 11 and has had no major health issue to date s The biggest issue was she lost a lot teeth with her last cleaning |
