| My groomer cut my yorkies topknot!!! I have been using Petco grooming for about 1 year now. Ciarra is 2 years old and I have let her hair grow long and have never cut her top knot. It was so long and thick she had to keep it up even at night. I took her to my regular groomer for her touchup her feet, toenails, etc... When I picked her up the groomer had thinned out and cut her top knot. It is just one thin whispy string now. I was and still am just devastated. It is going to take me another year or so for this to grow back. I will have to trim it from time to time because it is in so many diffferent lengths. How could this have happened? when I picked her up the groomer was not there and I asked if she let someone else cut it or did she train someone on my dog. Has anyone else ever had something like this happen? I called the main office for Petco and am still waiting on a return call. I don't care about the groomng fee.... I don't know how they can fix this situation. Any suggestions? |

| A couple of years I was devastated when Bruce picked up Beamer and Lil Bit from the boarding kennel where they had been staying while we were on a cruise. When we dropped them off they asked about grooming. I said to just bathe Beamer and to cut Lil Bit down. They had groomed Beamer just a week earlier so they knew him. When Bruce picked them up they had cut Beamer down and just bathed Lil Bit. They apologized and said they had got them mixed up. (how they could have mixed the two of them up I have no idea, they are totally different, Beamer has the silky coat and Lil Bit the cotton coat, and Lil Bit is 7 years older than Beamer) I was so sure that it would take a long time for Beamer's coat to grow back, but it only took a couple of months. Needless to say we have never been back to that kennel. I have a great groomer who comes to the house. Ciarra's top knot will grow back faster than you think

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I'm so sorry, I'd be so bummed. Can you trim it so it at least looks thicker, and maybe a nice big bow? I think I'd find another groomer, but I'm not sure if there's anything you can do.
