| Animal Medical Center, NYC I wanted to take a second to once again praise the Animal Medical Center in NY for their wonderful care and attention to animals. I previously used AMC when I lived in NYC and have continued to use their specialists when needed. This past weekend, I was forced to deal with a totally incompetent ER vet clinic where I now live in upstate NY. When they could do nothing, I was sent to AMC, a two hour drive from where I live now. I was once again, totally impressed with their compassion and skilled level of care- I only wish they were closer to me. I was whisked into a triage room the moment I walked through the door, as soon as the tech saw how much pain Armani was in, he was taken directly to the back so that they could begin treatment to ease his pain. The tech came out twice in the short time he was back there to update me and let me know who was working on him and how he was doing. Once the vet was through with him, he took me into a room and spent a great deal of time explaining Armani's condition and going through each of the meds and the recovery process. He never seemed rushed and was open to answering all my questions. Before I left he gave me his card and asked me to please call anytime with questions and to at least email him in a few days to update him on Armani's progress. Animal Medical Center is a full service vet hospital with emergency care and a huge list of specialists. I would never hesitate to take my animals there as I always know they are getting the very best care available from a group of people who truly love animals.
