| There are several reputable breeders in and around the Dallas area. I would suggest you look a little longer. Think you can find much better.

| Not impossible to achieve....but, very difficult for you and for the pup...They do mat very easily. The desired coat texture is silk.

While her breeding pups are cute....not what I would consider breed standard.

| Thank you; didn't know what "LP" was. Being conrete is good!!! Maybe intuitively I knew that something was wrong with that sire, and that is why I wrote about it to you all. I am going back in a few days and will ask more about the sire and am also [now] looking again at other breeders in the area. A couple of months ago, I had a bad experience with someone acting as a breeder that I now know was probably a "broker". When she told me she could "get one" [puppy] with a little time and that she didn't allow visitors to her "kennel" for fear of germs, I figured I'd better run. Then I also ran into a place in N.E. TX that sells "teacups" (I know) for between $1500 to $11,000 to "celebrities" and people can "bid" for them on the net, sight-unseen, for prices less than what you'd pay if you showed up in person. Hhhhmmmmm. If my random experiences are representative, there is a lot of crookedness in this business........ makes me think of the hastles of purchasing from a used car salesman.... Thanks, all. |

There are too many red flags with Trena's Toys and as I've said I've seen the pups she's produced first hand.....If you are looking for a quality dog....it's just not where I would start.

| With a heavy heart, the little dog that was purchased from Trena's Toys was put to sleep this morning. Vet diagnosed tyroid cancer, along with an inability to keep her calcium levels balanced. She took ill a week ago and was unable to be saved.

| So sad, Mary. At least she is happy now at Rainbows Bridge. How old was she?
