Recommend Vet in NYC for Spaying? Hello Everyone, I'm new to this forum but have ready many feedback and posts that have helped me greatly although I don't see many that recommend a really good vet in NYC to spay my yorkie that is reasonably priced? I have waited too long to spay her and she has gone through 2 heat cycles and I just need to get this done but out of all the vets i've visited I haven't found one yet that I feel comfortable with. I second guess everything...either the office is dirty, or they have told me they won't do blood work before operating, etc. Please help! I'm looking for a reliable vet that has good references for performing surgery/spaying with small yorkies, she's 4 lbs. Thanks everyone!

I have a great vet - but out on Long Island. Probably cheaper than any vet in Manhattan anyway. Don't know to tell you about the cost of a spay but you may want to look outside of NYC for better pricing. Good luck.

Heart of Chelsea or West Chelsea Veterinary Clinic are very clean, amazing vets- they can be a bit pricey but they are both good. Keoki got neutered at Heart of Chelsea but I now use a vet that is in South Salem NY. Keep us posted and welcome to Yorkie Talk!

Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital in NYC Hello Everyone, I've decided to go with the Bergh Memorial Animal Hospital that's inside the ASPCA building. Has anyone heard anything about this hospital? It's so hard to pick a place. Every place I search for reviews had bad and good reviews. Any feedback is appreciated!

Don't know anything about this hospital... I always recommend animal medical center on the upper east side, I don't trust anyone else in the city with my kiddos!
