| KayDee's Maltese and Yorkies, Burbank, CA Just thought I'd share my great experience with my breeder. Krista and her partner breed Yorkies and Maltese. They have an arrangement where her partner has the mommy Yorkie and whelps the pups. Once mommy is sick of them, Krista takes them for socialization and beginning stages of potty training. Once they're at an optimum weight and age she places them in homes I was able to meet his Dad and his Aunt. She had pictures of Mommy. I was asked a lot of questions about my lifestyle and experience with dogs. Krista genuinely cares about the home her pups are going to. I was sent home with a lot of handouts about caring for my puppy, hypoglycemia, potty training and more. We also got a little gift bag with new toys, food, potty pads, and supplements. She also took care of the AKC paperwork and had a simple, yet understandable Health Contract and 1 year Guarantee. The one thing I enjoyed the most was that I could tell the pups were raised in a home environment. The adults greeted us at the door and sat on our laps while we talked. The two pups were in their pack n play. Krista made no claims to the dogs being fully potty trained, but my boy hasn't had an accident in a week! He holds it and goes immediately when we take him out. For my first experience with purchasing a puppy from a breeder I am very content. My puppy is happy healthy boy and I really do contribute a lot of that to Krista. So if you live in the LA, Ventura, or Orange County area of SoCal I would definitely consider KayDee's as a great breeder.

| They advertise "T cup" and "toy" Yorkshire Terriers. Not impressed. Also not impressed with breeders that advertise on web sites such as pups4you...JMO

| Sorry - was busy with company and just checked out her sites. It is not a good sign when they advertise pups with t-cup term. Also she sold him to you so young. She advertises in a lot of places. Just some red flags you need to be aware of. I am sure you love your baby boy a lot. |

| I also saw the teacup thing and actually asked her about it. She answered honestly, that her one pair is smaller and she labels them as such to indicate they will most likely be smaller when grown. Her puppy prices don't differ on size, so she doesn't try to charge more for a small pup. She didn't call my boy anything. As for the ad thing I don't know, but she didn't try to hide anything from me. I even asked why she didn't keep them to the recommended 12 weeks. She answered all my questions honestly and didn't dodge anything. My pup was weaned, eating well, and is a good weight which is why she let him go early (which still might not be an excuse but meh). She called me 2 weeks before I was going to pick him up and told me the other boy she had wasn't at the weight she wanted and she wouldn't be letting him go until 12 weeks. I opted for Wookie because I wanted him to be bigger so I didn't hurt him lol I appreciate everyone's input and if anything fishy comes up either with Wookie's health or anything then I will be sure to update. But for now I am still happy with my experience
