Maybe some people are just so used to living that way they don't know how nice it would be to live by actually CARING about what they're doing and how it affects them, the dogs, and the people who buy from them.

I agree wholeheartedly.... Wonder what the legalities are behind that?

I can't imagine anyone seeing their website and choosing to buy a puppy from them. Most of those puppies look so badly bred and pitiful. And I can't believe she's able to sell them for so much money.

Vicki had never seen the website when she went to this breeder's house...she just saw Bleu Boy (he was MUCH cuter than any other puppy on that site so its easy to see how she fell in love). She didn't know about the website until Bleu Boy got sick

That poor little puppy she's calling a chocolate looks more like a blue-born to me...it hardly has any hair.

well i still contacted them because i thought the moms and dads were good looking yorkies! also, it was right before i found YT and i was not as knowledgable as i am now ... now i realize there are tons of red flag but at the time, i thought the mommies were pretty

and when i contacted them the puppies were much younger and did not look sickly like they do now...the old pictures they used to have up were really cute and the puppies looked like little fluff balls ... who knows if they were even THEIR yorkies though, you know?

so no i was not a total idiot for contacting them IMO ... the puppy pictures WERE cute and i thought i was better off finding a local breeder i could visit ... now i know better and i hope vickis spreading the word helps others stay away from this breeder

That is great that you posted their name.. not sure of your story but....
I was scammed not by them.. making a thread awhile ago was the hardest thing I have had to do..
But if it saves some one else heartache then it needs to be done..

Oh, you definitely aren't an idiot. Like Vicki said, we all live and learn. Sometimes people can look at the same thing and see something different.

I don't know, but it's probably something like "defamation of character" or something. Of course, when something is true....I'm just not sure. Wish I did know, but then, if it was allowed, there'd probably be more billboards or signs saying such things. I mean, can you imagine, LOL? Every other sign would be one taken out by a private citizen saying that so and so is terrible for some reason....but you never know....

Sad Unwarrented Warning about my babies!

Vicki, my heart was broken when I read the warning you posted, you were someone I thought was a friend. Bleu was the smallest in a large litter and I made no hiding of the fact, in fact, your friend, Robie has his brother (healthy and happy) I did not want to sell Blue in the first place, but you were so determined that I did for half of normal price, because it was you. Because I knew your dad and stepmom, and now I have met your mom. I offered you another pup as soon as you told me anything was wrong, long before you found out what. I returned 1/2 the price of the pup, even though the contract says I do not have to. I have had both the sire and dam's DNA checked and had multiple tests to see if it was a flook, or a problem in the bloodline. They have all been negative. I have taken the extra measure not to breed that sire and dam again, but they are not my ONLY bloodline, in fact I have multiple bloodlines, none of which are related. We talked about this many times. I am just so surprised and hurt. I take breeding very seriously and I adore all my babies!

I have spent many years trying to breed the healthiest, happiest puppies possible and this is probably the worst thing that anyone has ever done to me. All this, and you were asking about a little female to be with Bleu!
ALL yorkies have traits that can show up, liver shunts, heart problems, and the unfortunate problem Bleu had. I have had many, many healthy pups. Many teacups are all over the USA and Canada. I personally have a wonderful 2.6 pound yorkie baby that is healthy and wonderful, in fact we have been very lucky that this is the first illness we have had to deal with that I did not catch up front.

I wish you the best with Bleu.

Janis

You state you have had both the sire and dam's DNA checked and had multiple tests to see if it was a flook, or a problem in the bloodline. You state they have all been negative. You state you have taken the extra measure not to breed that sire and dam again, but that they are not your ONLY bloodline, in fact you are stating you have multiple bloodlines, none of which are related. Yes we have discussed this this many times. IS IT TRUE? OR WHY WOULD YOUR WEBSITE BE REFLECTING ALL OF THE DOGS IN BLEUS PEDIGREE!
This is my reply to your breeding program~

~ Sir Howard is Bleus dad and you are selling him for $ 500.00 Breeder stock HELLO! I thought you were not going to breed him again! Get him neutered .. Don't offer him as a PROVEN STUD for breeder stock.
2nd ~ Bleus mom is on your page as a dam.. You can not have the excuse of not updating your website either because you have updated it with SOLD AND PENDING as many for the past month have followed your website daily.
3rd Jac Jac is also in the bloodline ..Jac Jac is Sir Howards dad and Sir Howard is Bleus dad..
4th You have Jacs Flash as a new stud..... Janis this is not good....

YOU SHOULD SPAY AND NEUTERED BLEUS PARENTS AND A FULL REFUND WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE! Bleus chance of living was slim and you knew this.

Robbie does in fact have Bleus brother (healthy and happy) yes you did not want to sell Bleu in the first place, but I was determined that you did. You told me you WERE keeping him to breed that is why ... He was going to be tiny and you wanted to breed him! Oh how I am glad that I got him.

Half of normal price HELLO what was his full price? I paid 1500.00 for Bleu and my friend Robbie paid $600.00 for a female dog that had hip dysplasia and you replaced the female dog with Bleus brother when she was unhappy. The dog had poor temperament as well ... She would not eat drink or do anything she sat alone and scared. I'm sure this is due to the trauma of being put in another home. You bought Robbies female dog from a BYB breeder in Dallas. You were very helpful to Robbie in taking the dog back.

You did return 1/2 the price of BLEU BOY even though the contract said you did not have to. You did the right thing Thank you we appreciate it but moreso Bleu appreciates it. HE HAS LIFE! Yes you did discount him because you said you knew me and because you knew my late dad and stepmom, and now you have met my mom. Yes you offered me another pup as soon as I told you Bleu was sick and yes you offered me a pup well before knowing what was wrong with Bleu..

You also asked me to return Bleu and that was out of the question.... I am grateful of the $750.00 you returned however on several conversations you said and your husband said what ever it took to get him well. I truly thought you would have given us the total amount back. When I checked to see if the check would clear you had postdated it till the end of the month in which I did not notice. Yes you did share that your father was ill but you never shared the check would be post dated. You also were avoiding my calls towards the end around money discussing time because I always would end up talking to Wayne and I had a lady call to inquire about a yorkie and she talked to you.... I was always sent to Wayne... On every phone call you also bragged that 9 babies were born that day ... I had in the back of my mind my Bleu was going to die. Yes I remember you saying for every bad thing there were good things but you bragged to me about how many more babies were being born...You sell every one of these babies by soliciting the word "TEA CUP AND TINY. That is not breeding to better the breed.

I have called you since the day I brought Bleu home .. I sent you copies of his professional pictures and have updated you on his little life before he became ill and after up until I got a check in the mail.

I "DID" want a female for Bleu I got him to breed. NO denying that .. I have since studied up on breeding and realize now you do not just put 2 dogs together .

It is my hopes that by you being on this website you will also be able to learn from experienced breeders the proper way to breed just as I have ... It is no interest of mine what so ever anymore. I leave the breeding to the experts who champion their dogs.

Janis you actually buy yorkies from anyone and everyone and breed them when in all reality you should be breeding to better the breed and I have learned that on this website.

I hate this has happened to you I truly do and I would terribly hate it if I were in your shoes and had to start my breeding program all over again. However, I think that is your BEST OPTION JUST START ALL OVER!!!

My opinion is neuter and spay all your babies and sell them to good pet homes.

I want the best for you but more so those yorkies ... I can not sit on this site and be asked who my breeder is over and over and over again and not inform them of my situation with you and with Bleu. Coming forward was hard and yes we have known each other for quite sometime as I graduated with one of your sons.

Janis I also know you have been on this site before now lurking and reading. You signed up under a name jenifer4000. We are adults here. This is a fun website but it is also very educational and someone somewhere learns something from this site EVERYDAY!

Janis a you have a minimum of 10-15 females and 8-10 males and no telling how many puppies. Good breeders have few females one or 2 studs that have been championed. There are no champions in your bloodlines. Stay on this website read read read and research.... I have learned so much.

I just want this to be a learning lesson not only for me for you and for other yorkie parents.
I wish you the best of luck
Vicki Barber
Subject closed I do not have time to spend on this I did feel the need to reply because I am not denying some of the things you have said I am only stressing points in your breeding program.
