| Heating Pad? Do I turn on the heating pad before the pups are whelped or wait until they are whelped? |

| When mom is laboring, give it time to warm before baby is on it! That what we do with the chihuahua's. Im sure more will answer your question. Good luck.

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | You'll want to have it one and their holding box warm before they are born. I put the pups that were already born in the holding box with the heating pad when mom was busy delivering another puppy. After all pups are born, you move the heating pad into where they will be nursing/staying with mom.
