| This Morning...... Dori had a restless night, up wandering around couldn't get comfy.. She is now just laying here beside me, and won't hardly move (poor thing is MISERABLE) She will get up and sniff around a little to find a new place to lay and then she lays back down on her side.. I'm really thinking she may go anytime. But her temp is at 99.8... Does the temp always go down?? I know Lexie's was 99.5 last Sunday when she delivered, so I was wondering, maybe it doesn't always go down??

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Gosh, I'll bet you just can't wait for the waiting to be over, huh? We're all right there with you. As far as the temp going down....I guess I thought the 99 temp was in the down range...I've seen it listed as 99-98. Don't know what Lexie's was actually doing before she had her pups since I didn't expect the pups til this weekend, I didn't even get to start taking her temp; only that morning. How's her appetite this morning and/or watch for that shivering....that's what gave it away for me. Lexie had her first pup not to long after I noticed that. Hopefully it'll happen today or at least this weekend sometime. I think yours is the last one til around halloween time from what I've been seeing posted. "Come on, DORI!"

| Lucy's temp went down to around 98.5. She did not shiver until the first puppy had crowned. She did, however, keep going out thinking she had to poop. Laura |

| Diva stayed in the 99 range until the day before she gave birth... She was in the 98 range (98.6, 98.4, 98.8) the day before and morning of her delivering(yesterday)... Good Luck!!!! Yolanda |

| No they don't always drop. They usually do (in my experience all). Lots of moms into whelp without going into the 98 degree mark. It's not a prerequisite just an indicator |

| Thanks for the help.... I am thinking that maybe it'll be this weekend. She didn't eat a whole lot today. And she's kinda wheezing a little, at least that's what it sounds like. The temp is down to around 99.2 so anyway, I shouldn't keep trying to rush things, Sunday will be 61 days so We're not over yet, that's not till 63 days right?

| My Lily had a singleton and she was born on day 59. Lola was what I considered big at 5.7 oz and was/is very healthy. |

| Sounds like she is really getting close. I assume you have a whelping area for her by now? Does she seem to be taking to it at all? Shortly before she goes, I would look for her to seek a quiet place and become reclusive rather than be stuck to your side. In any case, sounds like her time is quickly approaching. Good luck! |

| This is day 61 she is getting into her box and sitting for a little while, she is a bit more miserable today it seems, I'm sure that I would not feel like doing much either. Just a good day to lay around and be lazy, the other furbaby's and skin babies are with daddy camping and will be home later, so her and I have some quite alone time before all the hustle and bustle of the new babies. It just good bonding time for us.. Thanks for putting up with my excitement of the upcoming litter, I'm trying to not rush things now, the more time they have in the oven the sweeter they'll be... I hope anyway... HOPING FOR BIG HEALTHY LITTER.....I'll check in when the babies are here...
