| Help! Did I calculate wrong? Oh my gosh I am so happy I found this site! My Sweet Pea is due today and she does not even remotely seem ready. She ate a hearty lunch, is lounging on her back seemingly without a care in the world. Her temperature is back and forth between 99.4 and 98.1. I had her xrayed last Friday and she only has one puppy and at the time vet said not too big. Did I calculate wrong? 63 days, right? |

| You calculated right....what could have happened was that she didn't get pregnant with the first "tie". So... it's either real soon... or any day now! Hoping for a smooth delivery.

| She got down to 98.1? Wow sounds like she's real close... Is this her first litter? Good luck with the delivery..

| I use an ear thermometer, and just read the directions that say there is a degree difference from a rectal thermometer. So I think when the ear says 98.1 the rectal one says 99.1. This is so not the time to be confused! This is actually her 4th litter. The first was before I had her, and she had 3 puppies naturally the 2nd time, and 2 the 3rd time, one delivered naturally that died and I raced her to the vet and they did c-section for 2nd baby and that one lived. That was a year ago in August. She is 6 years old. Should I even try to let her have this one naturally since there is only one? |

| I don't know if I would chance letting her have it natural if she's already had a c-section. I don't know the rules on that. If there are any... Does the vet seem to think that she'll do fine???

BANNED! | With 1 puppy and having had a c-section last time, I would surely watch her closely for any signs of hard labor. Be prepared to have to take her in if this 1 pup grows too big for her to have nautrally. |
