|  LEXIE (Luckylady) & DIVA(LuvmyYorkies2) Are Pregnant! Hello all! About a month ago I saw LuvmyYorkies2's thread announcing that her Diva might be pregnant and discovered that her female and mine had both been bred on the same dates! We've been PM back and forth for awhile and have decided to start this thread together to finish the last 2 weeks or so of their pregnancys. That way we don't have to jump from one thread to the other to keep up to date on each others posts. We've decided to post it in the Breeder Talk section in order to have the "experts" close by for any questions or help we might need. I have been posting Lexie's belly pictures weekly on another thread, but will post them again here, along with any new pictures, since this is where I will be for the remainder of Lexies' pregnancy and whelping news. Today, Saturday October 6, is day 49 from the date of her first tie. LuvmyYorkies2 (Yolanda) should be posting pics of Diva later today. Looking forward to any expert advice you can offer us! Attached to this post are belly pictures #1 - day 24(can hardly believe I could even think she was pregnant there), #2 day 29 (noticeable difference), #3 - day 35(with her maternity belly buzz

| ....and here are Lexie's belly pics from last week (day 42) and this morning (day 49). One question I have for anyone - when I took Lexie in on day 32 to palpatate (spelling?) to confirm pregnancy, the vet said that she felt 2 puppies. I'm wondering from anybodys past experiances, how accurate is that? Do they actually try to feel for every puppy or just enough to positively confirm pregnancy? And another ?? - At this point (day 49), when I see movement on her belly, are the puppies kind of curled in a ball in their sacks or can they be stretched out? Kind of going along with my first question about how many there may be, when I see or feel movement in different areas, wondering if it is the same or different puppies. I am having an x-ray of her next Friday, so I guess we'll know for sure then.

| Diva Day 48.....hhmmmm Okay so here's Diva as she is today.....but she doesn't appear to have made a significant difference in growth to me although I saw a little jumping going on(movement) like little swift kicks on her belly and felt it as well...maybe she's only having 1 or 2 but she's not as big as Lexie is now.  Anyway, here's Day 48....maybe you can see a difference....Okay Rose----Our journey has begun!!!!! Yolanda |
