| dominate female My little female is 16 mo. old and.My vet. said she is a dominate female because she likes to hump her toys. Does anyone have a suggestion about to do to make her come into heat. Last edited by gertie; 10-03-2007 at 07:25 AM. Reason: change of question |

| Welcome to YT. I don't know of anyway to make a dog go into heat. She might have already gone through one and you didn't know it. Some of them hardly bleed at all. Humping isn't a sign of dominance. If you read the forums you'll see we have a whole forum full of happy humpers.

| Actually humping is one of the signs of dominance as is any stance where one dog puts it paws on the back of an other. Your gal will come in heat when she's ready unless there is a medical problem. Have you had her around other gals that are in heat? Sometimes having them around the pheromones that are put off by the other bitches in estrus will bring them in. Meanwhile spend the time educating yourself cause you can never know enough about breeding these angels.
