| The sack that the pup is enveloped in is where the water is as well. The water doesn't usually break until the mother releases the pup from the sack. If it breaks prematurely it results in a dry birth which can be more difficult to deliver.

Thanks! Thank you! Her water did break prematurely with the girl, I took her outside to pee and it broke,so I scooped her inside and she had the pup on the white dining room rug . If any one wants to hear the full story, just PM me. Sarah

Checking Back Hi everyone! Gypsy and the babies are doing great. The little girl opened her eyes a few days ago! It was amazing. I have pictures of Them! One is sold already, but of course he's not going anywhere for 7 more weeks! The family who bought him requested that I call him "Tuffy". I personally think "Tuffy" is a stupid name for a Yorkie or any other dog, but hey I'm doing it! The other ones have names that I call them. The little girl's name is Chloe, she was born on my spotless, white dining room carpet that the dogs or kids aren't allowed on. I was mad, but hey what can you do about it when the pup is half way out of mom? I call the little boy Piper. I don't know why, he looks like a Piper to me. I'd love to keep the little girl, but someone on this site wants her, so I really don't know. Enjoy the pictures!

Hello Everyone! Hi everyone! This is my first time having their eyes open that young too. My other Yorkie, Paris's litters didn't open until the middle of the second week. I guess you can say that not two litters of pups are exactly alike. I'll be posting more pictures soon.

Am I calculating this that correctly that you place them with their new home at only 8 weeks? No offense, but most would agree that is a bit early for this little guys.
