| Breeding your male How many times do you all breed your male to a female. The question is for a friend that breeds her male one day, then skips a day then breeds two days in a row. Her last litter one puppy died, but it was so much smaller than the other two. Didn't know if it was smaller because it happened on the last breeding. Any info would be appreciated.

| timing Breed, skip, breed twice is fine...or breed twice, skip, breed once...it is nto usual to get different size newborns..I have bred females just once and had tinies and bigger ones...the sperm can last for quite a few days after breeding anyway... |

| What you described is normal breeding. Some breed once skip 2 days and breed again. Others breed once, skip a day and breed. And then others breed 3 times skipping a day in between each breeding.

| typically breed on 10, 12 and 14 day or breed 11, 13 and 15 day...sperm can live up to 72 hours some say 5 days so if you miss dont panic.
