| What is your standard protocal before a puppy leaves? I would be interested if some of the more seasoned breeders would reply as to what their standard protocal is before each puppy leaves their home at 12 weeks. I am interested in when you worm them or if you do? What products do you use? Do you vaccinate them and with what and when? Do you treat them preventatively for coccidia, and giardia? What products do you use and when? I have been doing alot of research on natural wormers and preventatives for coccidia, and giardia and this is mainly why I ask. I am very interested in seeing the difference in how each treats their puppies before they go to their new homes. Please be specific if possible like, Worming done at 2,4,6,8 weeks with what products and how much. Etc. Thanks in advance for your time in answering this question. |

| I vaccinate at 8 and 12 weeks. I only worm them if they test positive for worms. No sense in putting toxins (I use Nemex 2) into their small bodies for nothing. Have never had to deal with coccidia or giardia, hopefully I never will (knock on wood). HTH |

| i start my shots at six weeks altho some breeders disagree with that and say eight, my vet says six so that is what I do. then they get one every three weeks until they have had three. I also start worming them at six weeks. I use Nemex Plus or it might be Nemex two and worm them every ten days until they leave.1cc. They are vet checked just a few hours before they leave me for a health certificate and at that time, I ask the vet to run a fecal test to check for parasites and worms and write it one the health certificate. then I rush out and buy one or two little new toys, a new blanket and food to give the owner. i put the toys and blanket down in the floor the night before the puppy leaves to get the scent of their parents and siblings on it. Then, just in case, I rub everybody all over good with the new blankie just as the baby leaves me. |

| puppies I give 8, 12, 16, 6 months shots... Worm check at 6 weeks, 10 weeks and at the time of the health check when they leave..at 12 weeks or 12 months, whatever. If they need worming, I used Nemex II.. I do not treat for parasites unless the stool check indicates it is need. I had a stud service client lose two puppies who were wormed at 3 weeks..and the vet did not do stool check...he said..All pups have worms and it is routine..I do not agree. Yorkie livers do not handle these things as well as many breeds. |

| I give shots at 8, 12 and 16 weeks and recommend booster approximately 1 year from the last shot. Rabies I do not recommend until 6-7 Months of age. No, Leptos or Corona Virus. Worming only if warrented. As yet have not had to worm. Coccidia and Giardia....never have had a case.

| Mine is similar to YorkieRose - with rabies the one at 6 months, but I have been having my vet worm with Strongid-T. I have never had a puppy with problems with it. I always get a negative fecal check before worming, but have the vet do the Strongid-T just in case. I too have never had a pup with Coccidia or Giardia. I do not let the vet give a Lepto shot. I also do a Bile Acid Test at around (between) 9-12 weeks of age. All care is given by my vet - I do not buy my own shots even though I was a vet tech. T. I only worm if needed, as stated, no need to put it in their bodies if there is no need, and I use Nemex II as well. I have not dealt with Coccidia or giardia, and praying I never will! | |

| Book with feeding, training instructions, pertinent information on the pup and also containing Pics from the moment they are born and through their growing process. Pics of the parents and pedigree. Food, piddle pad a cozy cuddler that I make out of baby soft fleece and fancy fleece, a blanket that smells like mom and siblings, toys and a couple of show bows.
