| Has anyone bred a dog that has had bladder stones? Just wondering if anyone has had experience with this. My Katie had a struvite stone removed a few months ago and my vet says she doesn't see any reason I should not breed her. I wonder about what kind of diet she would need though as she is on the science diet c/d for now. If anyone has any experience with this I would appreciate some info. Thanks

| Hi, I know this is an old message. Hi, I know this is an older message, but I was wondering what symptoms your dog had. I think that my Yorkie may have a bladder stone also. |

| Years ago (about 12 yrs ago) my Schnauzer Tia had bladder stones...she peed all the time. I mean all the time! We had a small time country vet that tested only for an infection that came back negative. I took her back when she was peeing on herself only to find out she had to have surgery to have them removed. I got to see the stones too! They did an xray to see them...but that was so long ago that perhaps they have better ways to find out now?
