| Becoming a breeder info I would like to one day become a breeder but I don't know much about it. I have been to a few websites on the subject but I like to be well informed before I do things. I was wondering if there are any books and websites you could recommend. Pros? Cons? Thank you |

| I am not a breeder but i want to become one aswell and therefore have been trying to find anything on the subject. I know if you ask Pat (yorkierose) she will recommend the book Canine Reproduction by Dr. Phyllis Holst(I am Pat and Rini's [whispersmom2] *unofficial stalker, they just don't know it yet!* -try to read the posts they make on this breeding fourm alone and you will learn bunches!) I am just finishing 'Dog Breeding for Dummies' (filled with good suggestions and information) and will then start 'The Complete Book of Dog Breeding' by Dan Rice. Below is a link for a site that has information on breeding aswell as pictures of whelping. Hope I helped!
