Default Newborn Yorkies-how big?

I am just wondering when yorkies are born how many ounces do they weigh generally? What's the least, the most and the most common?

i can NEVER get a good reading on my babies weight b/c they move around so much. i use a weigh of life scale which has a plate on top. used for food. it measures ounces and lbs.

what do you use??? and how do you get a good reading when they are wiggling around?

My last litter of 6 puppies each weighed right around 4 oz. I used to raise baby birds and I use the same scale I used to weigh them, a digital postal scale.

I agree!! Right around the 4-5 ounce range is fairly common.

Default Newborn weights

Tea' is small herself, 5.5lbs and her pups ranged from 3.5 to 5.1...six in all so i would think the larger the litter the more likely the smaller the pups and opposite for small litters.

Does anyone know where I can find a wieght chart online? My neighbor is breeing his yorkie and would I think it would be neat to chart their wieghts and see what their appox adult wieght says for them and then what they turn out to be, as he is giving the pups to friends of his so he should see them all the time. thanks.
