| The first thing is find a good mentor. Someone that is an experienced exhibitor/breeder. You can go to http://ytca.org/. They have members in your area that you can call to get help and info. Go to shows, look at what quality Yorkies are supposed to look like. You can also meet and talk to reputable breeders there. Study, research, learn and then when a reputable breeder trusts you enough, get the best puppy you can get. To do things the right way takes time but it well worth all you put into it. There are already enough back yard breeders, don't become one. There are too many poor quality, unhealthy Yorkies being produced these days. Breed for the best, or don't do it at all. Not trying to be mean or harsh, just trying to be honest. Good luck on your journey..
