| Moon Valley Yorkies Is anyone familiar with this breeder? I searched YT and only found one mention where a member had purchased a lovely yorkie from her. I have been corresponding with her via email and she seems really nice. www.ayorkieisforever.com Thanks!

| I don't know anyone that has used them. I did go check out their website and call me picky but a couple things stand out. 1. She has standard listed as 5-10 lbs. Standard is usually 5-7 lbs. At least that's what I've always read. 2. She has small listed as under 5lbs. Most reputable breeders usually try to breed to standard 5-7lbs. and don't look to breed tinys (under 5lbs.) on purpose. Not saying she is but she is advertising 5 and under pups. Also, you can guestamate the size a pup will be as an adult but you can't guarantee it. 3 rd. and last it kind of bothers me that she advertises that she usually has puppies available. I don't see many reputable breeders with pups always available. I may be being picky. Maybe others will have better input. Elaine |

| There is no minimum weight on AKC standard. It must not exceed 7 lbs is all that is stated. |

| that's right but she is saying hers are 5-8. And the friend that warned me away from her told me some of them are ten pounds. i had contacted her because she also advertised champione sired small ones but i don't think she has any. it's a case where i would tell anyone to go and see for themselves. i have been burnt a few times buying dogs from websites and pictures. |

| My problem with this is her advertising, "Champion lines" and "pet quality". Just because a puppy is out of champion lines doesn't mean anything! If it's not show quality, then it's pet quality no matter who the sire and dam are. Just because there are champions somewhere in their pedigree doesn't mean squatt. Something tells me these puppies are probably not show quality!
